African Olive Country Estate is so peaceful. There are farm animals just on the other side of the stream. The wind blows through the trees and you can't help but relax. The place is beautiful inside and out. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Deon was very accommodating to book us in earlier. I will definitely visit the place again and recommend it to anyone who just wants to get away from the noise of everyday life.
Yes, air conditioning and pool were a blessing. I might only advise to bring your own drinking water and for sure a load shedding grill. An electrical point by the table will help for the computer.

Deon is a worthy host who makes sure that his visitors get only the best. This peaceful retreat for a weekend of rest from the urban rush is an ideal place to just sleep late, rest, read, explore the farm etc. Will definitely go there again, a unique peaceful place.

Quiet and the hospitality was even better. The moment we stopped there we were treated with kindness. We felt so at home. Everything was neat and clean. Was nice and quiet and the animals there are the most beautiful and cutest view. Would definitely recommend the place to anyone. Everything was perfect.
The weekend was super special for us, to be able to rest there. The "farm" atmosphere, the large full-flowing groundwater canal in front of the houses, the lovely cool trees, farm animals, goats, sheep, cattle, chickens, partridges, voles and more, make it just a wonderful escape from the city . And of course the welcome of the black and white farm cat, made at home on the bed, "the place is actually mine, but you can have fun here". Decor, layout and finest detail, make this a regular rest trip for sure.

In one cottage there was a bad sewer and drain smell that needed some attention.
Pleasantly surprised by the roominess of the accommodation. The little additions and gadgets show an insightful host who caters for your every need. What a wonderful bathroom. I made friends with the wonderfully expressive billy goat and his flock bid us farewell when we left. I really enjoyed my stay here, and wish it could have been for longer.
The accommodation was truly peaceful and the view allows you to yearn for your own farmhouse somewhere in a quiet village. Out of the noise of the town, but close enough to drive to numerous eateries. The cottages are fully equipped and the interior decor really fits in with the culture of Paris. Deon and team know how to make one feel at home and take good care of you with the little extra details and spoilers that are always waiting for you to go.

It is clear that the owners of the guest house prioritize the comfort of their guests. The place was beautifully but practically furnished, the linen of excellent quality. The hosts went out of their way to make us feel at home. Definitely recommend.

It really is a place where you can relax if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle. Well-equipped kitchen, clean bathroom and comfortable bed and couches! Then also near town if you want to go around.
