The bedroom contains a king-size bed that can be converted to 2 single beds. The bathroom contains a bath with handheld shower attachment, a shower, a toilet and a washbasin. All linen and bath towels are provided.
The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering with a fridge-freezer, oven and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, and cutlery and crockery. Tea and coffee and homemade rusks are provided on arrival. The living area contains a 4-seater dining table and chairs, and a lounge area with a fireplace. The large cottage has air-conditioning, panel heaters in the lounge and bedroom areas, a fan, and Wi-Fi internet access.
The cottage opens to a covered patio with outdoor braai facilities, and a view of the large private succulent garden. Off-street parking is provided.

What a beautiful place in beautiful, peaceful Prince Albert. We had such a nice stay. Everything was perfect. We love this village and African Relish - Doringbos Cottage made our stay extra special.
The staff went above and beyond and were friendly and helpful. Doringbos Cottage provided an authentic Prince Albert feel. Would definitely come back again!
The cottage was clean, comfortable and spacious with all the necessary equipment. The location, however, is a bit misleading on the website. It is not centrally situated but more on the outskirts of the town. This may be disappointing to some visitors.

I really enjoyed the cottage's sumptuous linens. The kitchen utensils made me feel at home, especially the Le Creuzet cooking pot. Will visit again.

Very spacious, well equipped, clean, tidy and with air conditioning and a lovely farm dam swimming pool for the hot summer days. We will definitely stay there again on our next visit to Prince Albert.

Clean and comfortable stay. The town is busy with many tourists visiting, even during lockdown, but African Relish is positioned well away from the hustle and bustle.

Guests will need to check in at the African Relish Cooking School and Office at 34 Church Street between office hours 08:00 till 17:00 Monday’s till Saturday’s. Sunday arrival procedures will be communicated to guests in advance.
