Our guests had a great time staying there. They couldn't get over how beautiful it was and how the owner's hospitality made them feel so welcome. The breakfast was top notch. Well done to African Silhouette Guesthouse.

African Silhouette was a very pleasant and comfortable overnight stay, including a delicious breakfast, for our mixed group of family and friends. We needed quick access to the airport the following morning but did not want to stay in an airport hotel. Susan is a delightful host, accommodating our dietary requests and family configuration without any hassle. We approached her home from badly pot-holed roads and Susan directed us to a better road for the airport trip.
People were friendly, room was nice clean and tidy. No complaints.

Extra effort was made so that we could use the lapa for a braai that evening. The children could jump on the trampoline and play on the lawn. The hostess makes sure that her guests have everything they need.

It was everything we were looking for in a place. Neat, friendly people and of course the fantastic breakfast every morning. The owner is truly a wonderful and friendly lady. She truly went out of her way to make everything so comfortable and delicious for us as a family.

We drove off early in the morning and returned late. We were given breakfast early by the most wonderful host, who went out of her way to help us. She was available at all times for our requests and went out of her way to help us with any request. already 100% recommend that the place be used. Ideal for people staying more than one night and ideal for long term stays. Very quiet area so ideal for safety and rest.
The breakfast in bed was a welcome surprise because we had to drive early. The outdoor shower is refreshing and you warm up quickly even though the air is cool.

African Silhouette was the perfect oasis for our mother-daughter getaway. Susan, our hostess, pretty much spoiled us, like with delicious breakfast in bed. The location is close enough to the city, but outside the hustle and bustle. A true, intimate oasis for soul and heart.

20 minutes' drive from O.R. Tambo Airport, you'll find this jewel. The owner personally picked us up and dropped us at the airport and spoiled us so much. Nice and private and spacious room with outdoor shower.
The place is 15 minutes from the airport. Susan is a friendly hostess who continues a delicious breakfast. The accommodation is very neat and equipped with air conditioning and also an outdoor shower. There is a swimming pool and braai boma and a small pond which adds to the peaceful atmosphere especially after a long busy day on the road in the hectic Gauteng traffic.

Unbelievable hospitality. They go out of their way to make you feel at home and to provide what you need. The rooms were spacious and warm and my food parcel was freshly prepared the next morning because I had to hit the road early. It was already dark when I arrived and when I left so didn't get to see much of the area.
You only get 20 minutes of internet. That was our biggest issue. Otherwise we got some good sleep and the food was delicious. Good choice if you plan to explore all day.
