The retreat offers 5 beautiful suites. Some suites boast a private infinity pool and an exotic Jacuzzi bath, an indoor fireplace, and/or a hot tub, and now also an outdoor shower.
Guests have access to a north-facing garden, a rock pool, and a covered cabana where you can laze in the sun on sun-beds or sip sun-downers. Being on the side of the mountain, there are views from all angles and sun all day long. Each villa has an outdoor area with braai facilities. Off-street parking is available.

It was honestly an incredible experience and I would do it again without a second thought.
Good reception on arrival, very friendly service. The place itself is very well looked after and it felt like home away from home. I would definitely recommend it if you and a partner want to break away.
Our stay was amazing between the mountains. We also saw baboons. The jacuzzi was very nice.

Only downside: pay R2500 per night, but there is also load shedding. For that type of money there should be no load shedding.

We enjoyed our stay very much, the place was fully equipped with all that we needed. Our host Jennifer was lovely and provided us with everything we needed and she provided us with a lot of information that we needed to know about the area. The place was very secure and we were in close proximity to shopping centres and places for sightseeing.
We booked the Design Studio to rest and spend time with each other again and that's exactly what we were able to do. Thank you very much, very nice.
It was a really cute little suite with a private little verandah. It has water saving shower rose and very comfortable king bed.

Our weekend stay in the Terrance Suite was perfect. Management was very helpful and friendly, the apartment was spotless and well equipped. The views overlook Noordhoek and the sea, which were spectacular. A gas fireplace and underfloor heating in the bathroom kept the apartment warm at all times. There was also a full DStv selection, as well as WiFi connectivity and a great Jacuzzi to relax in. I hope to visit again in the near future!
Rob and Jenny were both very friendly and made us feel right at home. If we go to the Cape again, we will definitely stay there again and will recommend African Violet to everyone.
We enjoyed our stay so much. We stayed in the honeymoon suite. Ever morning when we woke up we walked straight out and looked over the sea. They offered a map to visit the local places and beaches but we didn't want to leave at all. We definitely need to go back soon.
A beautiful place built by the owner himself. He used the rocks in the area very successfully to build it. Rob and Jenni are two beautiful people. We enjoyed the weekend tremendously! The place isn't really fit for children.

TV in Room, what purpose does the beautiful living room serve then?. Lay in bed and drink coffee all night to watch TV. DINING ROOM Table's legs wrong, have to climb over legs to sit down. OPEN-PLAN Bathroom VERY unhygienic, PLANKS over a large floor area for draining water are a storage place for dirt, insects and hair. Bathroom windows that are normal glass, nice view from inside but can also be seen from outside. A curious Neighbour/woman/child can definitely plan to pop in if he/she wanted to. The neighborhood is so heavily trafficked that it does not justify it as a recreational neighborhood....R800 PER NIGHT TOO MUCH regards Jean DRIVEWAY to street VERY STEEP and sharp turn, front tires slip. LARGE DOUBLE CABS AND SUV'S ARE GOING TO STRUGGLE SEVERELY
The whole family really enjoyed the experience and would love to stay at African Violet again.
We only required accommodation for one night but we will definitely consider it for a longer stay, if needed. Pleasant and well equipped. We could not have asked for more.
