Small neat and clean unit. Fine for overnight. Decent finishing. Probably overpriced. Swimming pool advertised, but no longer available. Good aircon.
The room had a musty smell. Stayed very uncomfortable. The air conditioner's blow direction adjustment was broken and blew directly on the bed, so air conditioning was useless.
Pierre Els, you were the perfect host. Gave us good advice about restaurants and so helpful. Simba the labbie is the most beautiful doggy and he enjoyed the Karoo tjop. Well done Pierre.

Everything is nice and tidy. Pierre and his daughter helpful and hospitable. However, we feel that the space is extremely limited with no chairs to sit on. The 'kitchen' is well equipped, but there is no space to prepare food or wash your cups. The WiFi did not have a signal at any point. So overnight accommodation only.
Our rooms were very neat, clean and well furnished. The host was exceptionally helpful and did not hesitate to offer help for any request we made of him.

The place is central situated in Graaff-Reinet. Besides the room there is a nice garden and a swimming pool. For a longer stay the place is a bit narrow but dit a couple of days an excellent place.

Agave Self-catering has everything you need for a stopover between Gauteng and the Garden Route. Clean linen, cool rooms and a pool. It's walking distance from most places to eat and they also have secure parking. I would love to visit them again.
