Super hosts! Out of many stays in many guesthouses, Agulhas Ocean House was by far and beyond the best. Not only are the views from every angle just out of this world, but the hosts also gave much more than is generally required - from great chats with much laughter, packing braai boxes, doing extra special Valentine's breakfasts to really just opening their home to their guests and treat us all as family. We will forever have fond memories.
We really enjoy our visit at Agulhas Ocean House - the hosts are so accommodation, so friendly, always have good chats, and they know the area well so have lots of recommendations/advice to offer. Room (Lost in Art) is spacious, neat and clean with beautiful sea views, clean and everything you need for a stay.
Allan and Cheril are wonderful host and hostess who run the guest house "hands on". 5 star breakfast. We would recommend Agulhas Ocean House with great confidence.
We had a room with a fantastic sea view. Bed linen is of good quality, full DSTV package, small bar fridge and small outdoor patio. Spacious bathroom with enough quality towels and some. Breakfast was delicious and more than enough. There is a good variety to choose from and deliciously prepared. We sat inside as some of the other guests were sitting outside smoking. It would be nice if smoking on the stoep was also banned then everyone could enjoy anywhere. The outer area is fantastically beautiful with wild animals that come to drink water and it would have been nice to be able to eat there. Parking is on the road but the curfew ensured that there was no traffic through the night so we felt safe enough with a vehicle there. I might sleep more restlessly otherwise because of the safety of the vehicle, but I must add that I am quite security aware. We will consider Agulhas Ocean House again for our next visit.
Amazing location, exceptional hosts, overall a wonderful stay and a guesthouse we will definitely return to if we need accommodation in the area. Alan waited up for us as we arrived late in the evening. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with our great hosts, Sheryl and Alan, and other guests the next morning. The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our short stay.
Personal attention and service excellent. No extras added to cost. Delicious breakfast. Very nice location. Passing road a bit noisy during the day, but when the sun goes down much quieter. Will definitely visit again.
Friendly host and hostess. They are happy to help with everything. Comfortable sleeping experience. Mattresses are fortunately soft and cuddly and we were able to sleep wonderfully. We would definitely recommend this guest house to everyone.

Everything was perfect. The scenery is amazing, the accommodation is stylish and very comfortable and the host and hostess went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. The breakfast was also top notch with homemade jam and a big variety of things to choose from. You are right by the mountain and see hundreds of beautiful birds in the mornings, and you look out over the ocean. We highly recommend it.

Very nice B&B. We felt so welcome from the very first minute we walked in. The room is amazing, and the people are so nice! The breakfast was good, and we were able to use the kitchen for our own food. We had such a lovely stay here and were sad to leave after only one night. This was the best B&B in our 3 week holiday.
We received a warm welcome from Sheryl and Allen. The guest house is really wonderful and peaceful and warm. We had an awesome experience. We will definitely be going back.
The Zen View is a nice, big room with the loveliest view and lots of natural light - the perfect choice for any prospective brides looking for somewhere to get dressed for their wedding. Sheryl and Alan are very pleasant people and go out of there way to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
