14 guests' feedbackThe Arnolds made us feel right at home. The rooms are neatly and interestingly furnished, and the surroundings are wonderfully quiet for a good night's rest. The breakfast was fantastic and we met interesting guests during the joint breakfast at 9:00. We will stay at the guest house anytime if we visit Paternoster again.

We had more Ah! moments during our stay, the rooms were exceptional and the service was even better. Arnold and Annalise are committed to ensuring their guests have the best possible experience with small touches that make you appreciate your stay; from the makeup face towel to the amazing shortbread that comes with the complimentary tea and house-blended coffee and the lemon verbena guest liquid soap/shampoo and cotton bath sheets (everything locally produced/sourced). The guest house is tastefully decorated, it was like we were staying in an art gallery. We were sad to leave after the amazing 3-course foodie heaven breakfast. I wish I had booked a longer stay and I am hoping to make another turn at Ah! Guest House.
Ah! is located in a quiet street. Not walking distance to the beach, but why bother? The room at the side of the house is beautifully decorated and has a lovely sitting area outside on a private veranda. Guests are welcome to use the spacious living room in the house. An excellent breakfast is served in the main house. There are beautiful paintings hanging everywhere — a house that speaks of artistry. Arnold and Annalize are born hosts; friendly and caring, and they practice the fine art of sensing their guests' need for sociability.

No request was ever too big or too much trouble. The breakfast is absolutely excellent and definitely Michelin star worthy! The rooms are spacious and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The common areas and rooms are so tastefully designed and the view from the balcony is breathtaking. We will definitely go back again.

We had a lovely one night stay. Arnold was an amazing host and he even booked our dinner reservation for us which was greatly appreciated. The guesthouse is a few hundred metres from the beach which is amazing. The décor in the house is very unique and it has a homely feel. The highlight of our trip was definitely the three course breakfast with the other guests. It was delicious. We will definitely be back for Arnold's dinner experience. Thank you for a great stay. It was too short.
Duvet is too warm as the only option in summer. A throw with a sheet will help. Breakfast was outstanding, but don't like full carpet in the room, rather wooden floors.
The accomodation was spotless, the breakfast out of this world. Will for sure be back.
Artful blending of modern and old-fashioned. Beautifully clean and smells good. Host, Arnold, made an effort to book us a place at restaurant. And best of all was breakfast! Delicious! We recommend Ah! Guesthouse very strong.
We had a wonderful stay in a clean and comfortable room. The breakfast was imaginative and delicious, not the usual bacon, egg and tomato. The best breakfast I have ever had from a guest house. Thank you we will definitely recommend and stay there again!
