Stayed here for 2 nights with our children aged 25 and 21. Did nice game drives with their people and ate deliciously and visited there. Nice and quiet.
Very nice stay and relaxed.
One really feels spoiled, but unfortunately misses the peace and desolation of the woodland. I believe maybe some of the cheaper cottages are nicely laid out, but the big, luxurious, expensive rooms are not. We went to bed early that night, because the people in the surrounding houses were making noise.
A beautiful commercial lodge! We enjoyed our stay - the food was delicious and the accommodation is stunning. We did feel that the service wasn't great for the price you pay. The staff seemed inexperienced and struggled with 'out of the norm' orders. The arrival greeting was great, but thereafter the reception service was slightly disappointing. The game drives were stunning and we were lucky to have a lovely bunch of people on our game drives, but it is worth keeping in mind for future travellers that you may get paired with loud people and you drive with them for your stay. We also had some odd occurrences, like the turn down service arriving at 9pm each night - not sure if that is the norm but it was slightly odd. Despite the above, it was a lovely lodge in the Pilansburg and we really enjoyed being there and having the time to relax.
Too much to write!
Our visit was excellent. From the friendly service, wonderful tasty food to the well organized activities! Things just couldn't have worked out better.
Incredibly friendly and helpful staff that make this special stay and environment all the more worthwhile.
Everything was great, except for the service from the bar area as their selection was really power and the service outside at the pool was really not good. We have been there before and it was better for sure. The staff's clothing is also sloppy and the coffee was cold every time. Not great for a place that caters to foreign guests. Our stay in our room was tip top as always and they went out of their way to make our wedding anniversary special.
