Simple, but more than adequate for a night's stay. Everything is neat and clean. Plenty of space and the lounge area is a bonus. We didn't use the porch and built-in braai area, but I think that's an added bonus. Also, the fact that there is a two-plate stove with the microwave allows you to prepare any kind of food. The linen is warm enough with extra blankets and even a water bag if needed! Secure parking. I would definitely recommend and use this again in the future. Thank you very much.
We had a lovely weekend at Ahoy Cottage 4. The unit is very well equipped and very clean and tidy. Location is very central with many places within walking distance. Camilla kept in touch all the time to hear if we were having a good stay. Highly recommended.
Truly a heaven of a place. My wife and I visited there for my last few days of leave. It's safe, Camilia is so accommodating and lets us check in two hours before check-in time. The place was just right for the two of us. My family is so overwhelmed with the place that I should probably ask Camilia if she can accommodate 20 guests in April. Thank you Camilia for the wonderful hospitality. Will definitely visit again.

Ahoy Cottage 4 met our expectations. My nice and cozy place to stay with everything we needed for 1 night's sleepover. Will definitely stay there again.
Me and hubby were looking for a place away from our 4 teenagers and this is exactly what we found. Peace and rest. Away from our whirlwind of daily stress, we could relax in the pool that is so private and peaceful. No disturbances from any neighbours or other people on the property. Truly an amazing breakaway. Wish we can do it soon again. Felt like a home away from home.

I had a breakaway for my birthday. Couldn't have chosen a more relaxing destination. We had the swimming pool to ourselves which was great and fun. The lady and gentlemen which works there are quite friendly. Definitely enjoyed my stay, and will visit again.

It's a neat place. Just what we needed. Garden is well maintained.
We enjoyed the facilities, especially the pool. We had a great weekend after a shaky start. The manager was not there on arrival or available on her phone When she eventually arrived she was aggressive and did not apologize. Basically blamed us for the situation even though we had kept to our agreed schedule. We patched up our differences and had a wonderful stay The location is very central and we did not have to use our car. The caretaker was very helpful and deserves a special mention. All in all I would recommend it to anyone needing a quiet breakaway.
We liked the space the unit offers. The view over the sea from the braai is very beautiful. Safety of the guests is priority. The location is ideal from the shops, restaurant and beach front. Definitely worth it.

Positive criticism. Slept well, bed was a bit short, but we had a great time. Might get tall glasses to be able to throw a cap and one or two ice trays in the freezer. Furthermore, als was very pleasant.
We loved the fact that it is pet friendly and right next door to The Noisy Oyster. Walking distance to everything, including the beach and nearby shops.

The accommodation was easy to find, and very centrally located, close enough to walk to the beach and many of the restaurants and stores, etc. It was clean and well-kept, and felt quite private, we were able to relax on our porch and feel completely alone. The staff were friendly and helpful. The host seemed to have a lot going on, as she also runs a shop and cafe at the entrance of the accommodation, and is very hands on, which seemed to leave little time to be connected with guests. I only met her on our 2nd day, because I went into her shop to buy something. We were also left waiting around for 45 mins when we arrived (at the agreed time) for check in, and she had not contacted us to let us know what to do, that she she would not be there. We eventually got the attention of the gardener who was able to assist us. We loved the accommodation and our stay in Paternoster, but wish that the host could have been somewhat more attentive.

Ahoy is literally just as you drive into Paternoster and that was nice. No need to search for the place, it is clean and has very good security and it is close to the beach. Will just recommend that the pillows on the bed be replaced, it was very flat.
Very happy to stay in Ahoy Cottage 4, with my two dogs. Big, comfy bed, big bathroom, kitchen well-equipped for my needs, all within easy walking distance to grocery shopping and restaurants. No complaints, except perhaps the need to dodge the aloes.

Quite a small cottage with basic fittings - suit one or two people in good weather when you can sit on the stoep. Right in town next to the Noisy Oyster (book in advance).

It was a lovely break for me and my husband, who had been away alone without the children for 3 years. From the reception to the greeting, the service was excellent. The cottage had everything you could think of and was very tidy. We would love to stay another night or two and will definitely come again.
Lovely setting and ideally located in the centre of town. Within walking distance of everything that Paternoster has to offer. Very comfortable, clean and well-appointed accommodation. Excellent security and felt very welcome.
The unit and equipment were clean and tidy. The unit is in a good location in the business area and next to the "Noisy Oyster Restaurant" but not too far from the beachside eateries. Many shops and hotels are within walking distance. We would have liked to stay longer because we really enjoyed it. We are also sorry we were too late to get a table in the Noisy Oyster. We will come back and stay here again!

The place really surprised me, very neat and clean and everything you might need and more. Camille's service was unbelievable, even got a message asking if we slept well the Saturday morning and if everything was okay. She and her husband are so nice. Will recommend it to anybody!
We were accommodated in Ahoy Cottage 1 and it was an awesome experience. The house is beautiful, it was extremely neat and clean, very spacious, interior decorations are beautifully done and the kitchen is fully fitted with everything you need to make it your own home! Lovely experience staying there and the service was friendly and warm. Will definitely return to Paternoster this year.
Good accommodation, tidy room, can do with mats on the floor. Could also do with some cupboard space for clothes and it was a bit quiet without TV / radio. Otherwise nice.
Issues with the accommodation: The braai dish is on the ground, it should be on a stand. You want to stand up straight when you braai. The kitchen bin is open, doesn't even have a plastic bad and attracts flies. Two dishtowels with sponge, but no cloth to wipe the counter tops down. No hooks or railing to hang cloths. The broom, mop, buckets just stand against the wall. There are two chairs at the kitchen table, but one of the chairs is a bar stool at the dining table, very uncomfortable. The seat also hooks your clothes. No place to hang clothes (just two hooks on the front door) and no space to unpack clothes from luggage. We literally lived out of our cases for 3 days! No space to hang towels in bathroom. And no space to unpack vanity case. Literally just a showers, basin and toilet. Also no holder for toilet paper. Toilet paper has to be placed on floor or toilet! The little binne doesn't close, so you have to look at sanitary towels rolled up in toilet paper. I definitely won't recommend Ahoy Cottage 4!
Would recommend if travelling with pets. Can see that the place has recently been renovated, painted etc. Bathroom door needs to be sorted out and a shelf or cupboard add to the bathroom to place your toiletries. Only suggestion I have would be to replace the headboard of the bed as it's out of place. Otherwise very well equipped.
We had a nice stay and will definitely visit Paternoster again. Ahoy is definitely affordable for an average income group.

Ahoy 4 is an affordable unit. It is centrally located and we found it to be clean and fully equipped. Carmilla gave us a friendly welcome. My only remark would be that there were no towel railings. Otherwise we had such a nice stay.
Very private, clean, well equipped. Good for a couple for a night or two. Safety for cars can be stepped up.
Very dissatisfied. Safe parking as mentioned is a joke. At the back of the complex is a wood fence that can give easy access. There are two lights for safety and they were not switched on.

Ahoy 4 is pet-friendly but by prior arrangement only. Only socially friendly pets are welcome. Owners must bring their own pet beds, bedding and towels. Sofas and beds are strictly for human use only. Pets are not to be left by themselves under any circumstances, both inside and outside the house. Pet owners are responsible for all damage caused by pets, either by teeth, claws, bad potty training or territorial markings. All hair left behind by pets is the sole responsibility of the pet owner and should be cleaned up before departure. Pets are not allowed in communal areas, i.e. swimming pool areas, if there are already other guests there.
Stays of 6 days or longer, receive 1 refresh cleaning service. This is for the following only:
- Change of bed linen, bath towels, and kitchen cloths.
- Sweeping and mopping of house
- Cleaning of bathrooms and refilling of toilet paper (2 rolls per toilet)
- Sweeping of the patio and cleaning of the braai area
