It was a wonderful experience. Janey was amazing, the breakfast is delicious and the garden is peaceful. Couldn't have asked for a better resting spot. Excellent value for money. Looking forward to going again.

Walks straight from the guesthouse into nature. Safe environment. Great rooms and friendly staff. Full breakfast. The guesthouse will become hotel soon (with many more rooms).
Found the place to be a bit noisy at night, as there is a Sports Bar across the road. WiFi did not function. Excellent breakfast.
Somewhat awkward as various groups share the same house. Even though the doors can lock, we didn't feel too private as you can hear the footsteps on the wooden floors all throughout the house, even with closed doors. The host took quite a long time to settle our rooms, keys and WiFi.
Located on the main street and within walking distance of everything imaginable. Clean, tidy and unbeatable service. Would go back anytime!

It was just a pleasure to stay overnight in Airlies. Neil, the friendly manager, did his best to have everything perfect and he made a delicious, big breakfast. The room and bathroom were very neat and the bedding and towels were of high quality. We would recommend that the room be equipped with an air cooler or fan for the Cape summer heat.
Nice place, only a little "old aunt" character. The host is very accommodating. The best are the rooms in the garden. Big, really big and it's a luxury you rarely get for this price. Very good value for your money. Central position in the town and nice and quiet, because you are happy in the garden.
For sure the right place if you like antique art and furniture. Very peaceful atmosphere and immediately felt at home upon arrival. Very nice fresh breakfast and friendly service. Will pay a visit to Airlies Gastehuis again.
It was very nice to stay at Airlies Gastehuis. Beautiful historical building in the heart of Montagu. The owners are very friendly and makes one feel at home. Rooms are beautifully clean and neat and the breakfast was delicious. We will definitely stay there again.

The accommodation was neat and very unique. Tielman is a good host, he provided us with useful information about the area. The breakfast was delicious. There was enough to do to sleep over 2 nights.

The facilities are very good and the room was very spacious with fluffy bedding. The owners are very hospitable and the breakfast is excellent! The gardens around the house are very beautiful with a beautiful view of the mountains. We highly recommend it.
We stayed in the self-catering apartment. Reception was friendly. Off-street parking is available, but if you have a very long vehicle (Kombi or bakkie) ask Tielman which parking bay to use so that other cars do not block your exit. The apartment was neat and clean but very small. It consist of a bedroom, bathroom and kitchen and do not really have a lounge area, except for two chairs in the bedroom. There is also a swimming pool, which we did not use as it was raining. The microwave (a very old one) did not work. We reported it the next day on departure and trust that it will be fixed. There is a seperate entrance on the outside to the self-catering apartment, though it clearly states private. We used it despite the Private sign, otherwise you have to walk through their house which is a problem as the doors are locked so one must ring a bell to enter.
Airlies Guest House was a wonderful experience. This is a beautiful historic house. The host and hostess were very friendly and shared the history of the place with us. The rooms (separate from the house) were comfortable and tidy and the breakfast was DELICIOUS!
Quiet and very private. Love the layout of the room with the kitchenette which is very well appointed. Lovely pool and beautiful garden. Well located near all the shops and eateries. (Walking distance.) Owner and staff very hospitable.

Tielman and Corrie are very friendly and helpful. Nearby attractions were pointed out to us. Clean and well-equipped guest house. Spacious bedroom and bathroom. We had a nice breakfast. The guest house is located close to eateries and the business district.

It was a lovely weekend with excellent accommodation. The hospitality was warm and intimate. Highly recommended for families and businessmen.
Neat room and delicious breakfast.
We were received very well and friendly by Tielman and Corrie. Each in their own right is a very good host and hostess. They gave us good suggestions of what we could visit in the area. The guest house is centrally located in the town, the room in the main house was spacious and elegant with an en suite bathroom and the breakfast was excellent. WiFi is available, but the signal is weak and disappears every now and then. Just two comments: Although the yellow wood floors add character, they crack badly when you walk on them and this can be disturbing for other guests, especially at night. The guest house has no TV or fridge for guests. How about a communal TV in the lounge and fridge where guests can store water and perishables? Despite this, we had a nice stay the two days and can recommend Airlies guest house.
Beautiful nature with many possibilities for visits. Nice wine to enjoy on the wine farms. Boating on the Breë River is recommended.
