Room was dirty. Old piece of pizza in kitchen. Bedding has seen better days.
The window's handles were broken, not enough sugar, coffee and coffee creamer. Only one per person for the day? The building outside needs a facelift, not a good impression when guests arrive, the carport is broken and the cover was torn. The duvet on the bed was filthy and had holes in it. The TV did not work. No rails for the towels - they were broken. The lampshade at the bed was full of holes.
The photos are very misleading. The apartment was not clean. The shower head sprayed water over the top of the shower. The one bed sheet was dirty, stained and full of crumbs. Some of the pillows smelled bad. In the bedside table drawer were muffin papers and an empty wine bottle. Security brings you towels if you need towels and soap. It's conveniently close to the airport, but next time we'd rather stay in Pretoria - it's definitely not worth the short drive to the airport.
There are many rooms, some are obviously older than others. The aircon was being serviced and the bathroom was without blinds/curtains, but clean and working. Good beds, but the pillows could be replaced. I would stay there again for airport business.

The mattresses' suspension comes through. The duvets are so thin, we got cold. The pillows are also very thin. Duvets also need to be replaced. The living room set is torn. Will not stay there again.
The accommodation was value for money. We stayed in a self-catering apartment. Unfortunately there were no utensils (crockery, cutlery, general kitchen utensils) supplied. The microwave did not work. There was a stove and oven but no pots or pans to make use of it. There was no patio furniture; however there was a braai. The geyser was off on arrival. There was a hole in the bedroom ceiling and the windows did not seal properly allowing the cold Johannesburg winter air through the gaps. The lounge furniture needs to be updated. There was no TV remote. There was no heater provided as per their website. The space was large enough as we were three adults with two children. With some maintenance it has the potential to be lovely.
Airport Lodge is easily accessible from the highway. The service was excellent and any problems that arose were quickly resolved. A beautiful room and the air conditioning was a blessing during the excruciating heat. Recommendation: How about a swimming pool? There is more than enough room for that. We will definitely use Airport again if we need an overnight stay in Kempton.
Only one towel had to ask for another, no TV remote and had to inquire but it was stolen. For breakfast we got viennas and when I asked where the bacon was, they replied that they didn't have any!
It was just an unpleasant sleeping experience. Cheap sheets, dirty carpet, poor room amenities, no filter coffee in the room or in the dining room and third rate breakfast with no choices (worst I've ever had, so left it). Last time I experienced the same poor standard in Johannesburg. I finally decided: In Johannesburg you only choose the most expensive places and you are guaranteed of quality. Feel free to compare Pretoria's accommodation. Same price range. World class standard. Take a look at what they offer in terms of room quality, service and breakfast.

Was great, really enjoyed it.
We had a great stay and felt safe. Most of the staff were very friendly. I would prefer that there is at least such a variety in the breakfast. We got exactly the same breakfast five mornings - no variation. Our room's TV remote control was broken and had already been reported on Tuesday morning. It wasn't replaced until Friday the day before we left.
