Juliana and Steven were great. Thank you for allowing us to use your premises.
Lizard is 100% safe, we enjoyed our privacy and the services were excellent. The place was very neat and if it was comfortable, I will definitely go back to Akkedissie for a good night's sleep.
Can really recommend Lizard. Hostess made an effort to accommodate long vehicle. Safe and close to laundry, Spar and pharmacy. We had a very nice stay. Would stay there again anytime.
It was good but we had a bit of a problem with a dog.
Unfortunately, the ad does not mention a photo of the steep stairs to the unit. It is not suitable for someone with knee or walking problems.
I was happy about the fact that we could walk to the sea.
No cupboards for groceries. Very small closet for clothes. Towels did not smell good and were very old. The shower basket is attached to the faucet with a rope. Oven is rusted and no longer works so well. Pinch fryers are rusted. Juliana is friendly, but the place needs a makeover, all the furniture has been used for a long time. The new porch bench helped a lot to sit outside.
I was a little caught off guard with the steep and narrow stairs up to the accommodation. A bit uncomfortable, I'm a light sleeper and the branches rubbing against the windows with the wind blowing kept me awake. At first I wasn't sure what it was.
It was peaceful, enjoyed myself.
It was fantastic to stay at Akkedissie and enjoyed it very much.

Was a bit disappointed that we could not swim and that there was no WiFi available to us. But it was indicated on ad mail.
Akkedissie is a very nice little place to visit, with the basic necessities seen to all you need is to go and relax. With a mini-mall on your doorstep and a minutes drive from the beach. It's location is quite good.
Akkedissie is conveniently furnished with everything you could need for a short stay. However, the website makes it seem as though LekkeSlaap is within walking distance of the beach, which it definitely isn't.

This little place was very quaint and relaxing. We wanted a weekend away from the noise and responsibilities of the city. We lost our way to Akkedissie a bit because the directions were not very clear, maybe a few extra directions, such as drive past Shoprite on your left, would be helpful. We followed the directions but were constantly unsure if we were on the right track and had to turn back. Thanks Juliana for your patience and explanations about the directions and also the fact that you went out of your way when there was an issue with the DStv. Thanks for a wonderful place and wonderful memories.
This is just a suggestion for people struggling with back-ache: the steps to the unit is quite steep, otherwise the unit's location is great and conveniently close to the major routes.
It is a very nice place to stay and I will definitely be staying there again in the future!
Good location and it is spacious enough for our family and for the needs of our holiday. But it wasn't very clean and many of the things were broken (tiles, sofa) that need attention (instead of just covering it with blankets). No swimming pool to use contrary to the advertisement.
The place is fantastic, well equipped and close to shops - that's always the best, stay was excellent and peaceful.
Everything you needed, quiet and peaceful, and Juliana and family made me feel very much at home.

We were kindly received, but Lizard 2 is unfortunately not child-friendly. The cushions are in terrible condition and definitely not walking distance from the sea.

The apartment was comfortable and clean. The stairs to the apartment are difficult to climb, especially with luggage. The main routes next to the apartment were very noisy, especially from 3.30am.
I had a great stay, was comfortable and everything was there that one needs to have a wonderful time. Parking is safe, place was clean and tidy. Comfortable deck with outdoor barbecue.
