Wikus went out of his way and helped us during power outage where loadshedding phase burned. Even brought us lead that we can charge mobile phones before we leave the next day. Brought us a lamp in case the power went out. It's our 2nd year there and will definitely go there again. He is friendly and very helpful.
Wickus is the perfect host and goes the extra mile for his guests. Nothing was ever too much trouble. I can confidently recommend Akweja to anyone. Friendly and helpful staff, delicious big hot breakfast, clean, tidy and spacious rooms with everything you need, peaceful atmosphere and very central.
The family rooms are spacious and clean, however there was no liquid hand soap or shower gel. They can get them fixed to the wall if guests take them home. It is a basic thing that the B&B can offer to the guests. We also didn't get breakfast because we booked through you, the host told us we must pay R150 each and when I booked, I saw that it was a Bed and Breakfast and that we were supposed to receive.
We will come bedlis again, when we are in GP.
Hi I didn't have much time to look for a place to sleep. I think we got what we paid for. I must add that I accept the time of the discussion regarding the year. You could tell they hadn't prepared a full breakfast. What bothered me more was that the dining hall's chairs are full of cat hair. We have two cats ourselves, but their hair is not in guests' faces. I think they think they are 4 star, glad they think so. For an overnight stay I will personally look further next time. The room was clean and tidy.
The generator for load shedding aeration is a plus. Central accommodation for Alberton area. Can recommend.
The accommodation was neat and clean. However, we already had an appointment early on Saturday and wanted to have breakfast at 07:00. However, the man at reception said that breakfast is only served from 08:00. We asked if they could accommodate us with only cereal porridge, but they didn't want to. It would have been good to be able to get such information in advance so that we could prepare. Room was booked for 4 people, but there were only 2 towels (which had seen better days) and 2 coffee mugs. At least they still provided when we went to ask. Not bad, but have had better service for the price.

Akweja is very neat and clean, and the management is extremely professional and friendly. Breakfast was 10/10, and Akweja made an effort for us.
Although it was loadshedding, we did not feel it because of the generators that they had, but if they can just say open a little later than 8 o' clock, then it would be great.

Very neat, clean and safe. Comfortable layout of rooms and very hospitable staff. Delicious farmer's breakfast. Would recommend Akweja anytime. My daughter and I had a great time with our friends.

Very nice place. The rooms were clean and neat, and the owners were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good, and accommodation was easy to find. I was just missing small touches - a little 'warmth' or personality in the rooms perhaps? Not really sure how to define it according to my preferences. But overall, it was really lovely.
