Our room was comfortable, spacious and clean. We were very happy in our room! The staff are amazing, hard-working with a great attitude! A great team doing their best! The building itself is run down with leaks and gutter issues. The rooms were recently renovated though. The kitchen needs attention - cooking with old oil? We chose not to eat breakfast. The property is run down and needs attention. Once fixed, I would return!

Was very satisfied with Al-Beit lodge, rooms were neat and spacious and reception area and parking area also more than adequate. Good value for money.
The rooms were very clean and neat, friendly staff and a good customer service.
The accommodation - very neat rooms with DStv - recommended for families who want to stay - for the business person a problem, not a table for work etc. The breakfast also not great as you only get egg and toast with not even anything extra and you have to prepare your own toast! Other than that I recommend Al Beit.
The reception is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. We were out for breakfast too early, but we saw, there is something of everything and a chef on duty!
We got an outside room which was attached to the kitchen. All the noise and smells from the kitchen were really very bad. The plug was also open and unsafe.

There was a problem with our booking that didn't go through and was initially a problem. With our luck, there was still a room available, but it caused panic because we were there during Ironman and most places around were already full and we wouldn't be able to find another place to stay nearby. The staff were very friendly and available if we needed them. Rooms are nice and big and clean. I don't know which guest house is still on the property that uses the same entrance, but we were woken up at 01:00 in the morning by people who kept ringing the bell. We had to get up at 04:00 for the race the next day so we were very angry with the foreigner who rang the bell about 20 times until we got up to open for her. I know it's not the guest house's fault, but it might be good to set times for if someone might arrive after hours and how to get in or something so that the guests are not bothered if someone wants to come in from outside . Furthermore, oins had a very nice stay.
Needs some maintenance on the outside, but the rest was fantastic!
Received very good service, as well as free dinner. Vuyo went out of his way to make it pleasant for us.
We were not aware of the strict regulations concerning alcohol etc. It was very hot and our room had no aircon.
Their hospitality was amazing. The owner invited us to dinner which was more than what I bargained for and his staff was so helpful. Will surely visit them again!
