What a beautiful place. Very spacious and in a quiet area. We enjoyed ourselves very much. Will be back.
Very nice stay - the house is well equipped with everything we need. There just wasn't enough toilet paper.
It was very nice. All that was missing was a washing machine. I would trade the dishwasher for a washing machine. Very nice visiting area.
The only problem we had was that the braai/fireplace was blocked with soot. We made a fire and the entire house was filled with smoke. Very unpleasant. We reported the situation and the administration team on duty went the extra mile to assist us by giving us a different house with a fireplace that was working. I would recommend that the owners of Alamapstieks change the design of the cowl so the extraction is from all directions and not just north/south.
If it wasn't for the top deck with a nice view, I wouldn't simply recommend visiting here. Cleanliness was a big problem, we had to wash all the cutlery. It was also very dusty. The dishwasher didn't work either.
Alarm didn't always work, faucet that dripped and the power tripped twice otherwise we had a good time as a family. Thank you very much
Upon arriving at our destination, the property was littered with dog poo all over the outside garden area of the property. We had to go around and clean up ourselves before being able to make our way around the property. As pet owners and a group that travels regularly with our dogs, it was not a very pleasant start to our holiday. We also ran out of gas for the stove on the morning of the second day of our stay and had to spend time trying to arrange for a full gas tank with the office. The place in general was also just not very clean. And very dusty. The wifi cut out a few times. But that could have been the weather, so won't fault the accommodation for that. The upside to this holiday destination was that it was a few steps to a wonderful, clean beach. Which was the highlight of the trip.
We felt safe staying there. So many options to braai based on the weather. The teenagers were happy with the wifi and outdoors and the dogs had the most fun being with their family and walking on the beach. Loved it. If you have a big family there's plenty of room.
We just loved the 3 braai areas. Great place to stay with family and friends.
More good than bad. Only problem was DStv being dysfunctional. Nonetheless it was a perfect getaway. Very cosy, warm place. Place was kept neat and tidy. Well equipped. Nice deck to have sun downers and nice braai facilities and pet friendly and walking distance to the beach. I would recommend it to anyone.
Thank you Seashells! Warm water, clean bedding and neat accommodation. If you're not fussy during a breakaway, this is just the place for you with its assortment of antiques and modern accents. Everything you need for a breakaway is there. The braai facilities are somewhat rusty so we used our own grid. Apart from that we all enjoyed our stay. Would stay there again!

Outside furniture on the top level is a risk, seeing as how the furniture is worn. The owner's reaction when I mentioned "I'm waiting till it breaks". I think it poses a danger to guests. The stove can also be upgraded. The gas bottle stands next to the stove. Not safe! Field mouse plague! I brought it to the attention of Paternoster Rentals, but nothing happened!
We really enjoyed our stay. Well equipped house and LekkeSlaap offers great service with small problems.
Close to the sea, good for a quick getaway.
The house was clean and tidy. Everything is in the house that is needed. Nice second floor with porch and you can see the sea through the front row of houses. There is not much traffic.
It's the most peaceful and neatest place ever. The weather was not nice, but we were still able to make a fire and have a good barbecue.
The weather was not so nice, so the stay was so-so.

No check-ins or check-outs are offered on Christmas Day or New Year's Day.The keys please need to be collected at the Paternoster Rentals office.
The balance of the booking is to be paid 3 days before or on arrival; keys will not be handed over under any circumstances without full payment received.
This unit may only accommodate the number of guests as specified on the booking invoice at any given time.
No loud music after 22:00.
No parties on the property, management reserves the right to evict tenants that do not adhere to this rule.
Kindly note that we do not have the authorization to do credit card payments on behalf of guests, we only accept EFT/Bank transfers.
There is a non-refundable pet fee of R250 for up to 2 dogs per house. No more than 2 dogs at a time.
