We enjoyed our stay as always. Great service from the Alambra team. The house was clean and well prepared. Views were amazing.
Our stay was wonderful, peaceful and we loved the sea views from the deck and within the house. Very spacious house with an alarm for safety. Also, we had nice weather in Franskraal and the owner of the house is very nice. We would stay there again most definitely.
The house is spacious and comfortable. Rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. Two fridges sufficient for large groups.
It was great except the toilets were not flushing correctly.

We had a very nice stay. Everything is very comfortable and the people very friendly. The yard is also well fenced with a proper gate, so our dogs could run around. The view is great and it is very close to the sea.
Great communication from all parties we dealt with. A few th8ngs should be sorted: although advertised as dog-friendly the front garden was not q place we could let the dogs stay or be in unaccompanied. Gross animal bones all over the place; someone emptied rotten food onto grass and left it there; bin bags had been dumped in grass. Visible eye sore and dangerous for dogs. . Old part of house is horrible. It has damp, mould odour. It needed days to air out. Our friends had to go to chemist to get allergy meds. That side was not pleasant to sit, bathe, or sleep.
The kitchen area was nice but the rest of the houses had a very unpleasant smell and we could not use the lounge and TV at all, very unpleasant. Luckily we were able to close it and just stayed in the other part of the houses. Very cold in winter with no heating, very unpleasant and for sure would not recommend in winter. Floors were not very clean either.
Monica received us kindly. No television or hot water the first night, but we enjoyed our time there. Franskraal's people are very nice.
Fantastic stay at Alambra. The views are super, one street from the beach. Very comfortable living. Excellent service. If you want peace and quiet this is the place to be. We will most certainly be back for more in the future.
It was a great relaxing getaway, and it was an added bonus that we could bring our furbabies. The only downside was that there is no main gate to the actual property, so we weren't able to let the dogs run around outside as they could run into the road. This was also a small safety concern as you can walk into the property with ease. The house came equipped with a gas plate for load shedding, WiFi, and DSTV. We didn't use the latter two, but it's great to have them available.
We were 5 adults and a 10-month-old baby. The living room is spacious with a carpet, ideal for the baby to play/crawl on. Sun deck is spacious, but has little seating for hanging out, garden chairs would work better with the braai. Indoor fireplace is unusable and the new part's toilets do not flush properly. Linen was clean, bed and pillows comfortable. Comfortable kitchen with pots/pans and cutlery, double fridges is definitely a winner in a holiday home. Plenty of parking in front of the house, guest toilet a winner for friends coming over. Don't expect a luxury home, just a nice and comfortable holiday home near the Franskraal/Uilkraal beach. Good service received.
Was only there for 3 nights but really enjoyed it. Place is spacious, especially for large group of guests. Sun deck is a big bonus with a view of the waves and quite sheltered from the wind. Only negative comment is the fireplace that smokes and doesn't smoke well. Agent was also very helpful, friendly and provided good service.
The house is sufficient for a large family.
Book the place, you won't make a mistake. I will definitely go again.

The new part of the house in particular is very nicely laid out and lives well with sun coming in everywhere. The beds are very nice and comfortable! We will definitely come again.
It was just the break we needed. Ilze, our host, was amazing and super friendly and efficient. Will recommend this place to anybody looking for spacious, modern and key located house in Fraanskraal. Will definitely be back.
We arrived after the Jacuzzi fire incident so the deck was partially unusable but the stay was still great. The fridge in the one kitchen smelt of fish so we didn't use it. We used the other two main fridges instead.

Everything you need and an amazing house by the sea.
We really enjoyed our stay at Alambra, and would definitely return or suggest the place to friends. The beds are super comfy, and the rooms are nice and spacious. The kitchen has everything you need, and the two fridges and the dishwasher were a bonus. The large dining room table is great and we spent loads of time around that table eating, chatting and playing games.
I won't recommend this place purely because we had trouble with people coming onto the property and setting off the alarm at 3AM.

We spent a great long weekend at the house, it is very clean and comfortable, with lovely views and large deck. The rocky beach is a short walk away and a little further on is the sandy swimming beach. Great place for a family getaway or with friends.
We look forward to our next visit to Alambra. Fantasy experience.

Alambra Beach House was a very nice house to stay in. The quality of the bedrooms and kitchen was particularly good. Good view, long evenings in the hot tub and good customer service that is just around the corner, make this a very pleasant home to keep on vacation. I think security could probably be improved a bit with the doors not all locking easily and the fact that there is no fence and anyone can walk into the yard from the street. I would definitely be able to recommend the house to families with children.
This cleverly designed, two-winged old Beach House is ideal for a large family, or two couples with a bevy of kids. A home-from-home within easy walking distance to the sea. Views are to die for!
