Very nice, enjoyed the stay. So amazing to look out to the seas.
Lovely place right by the sea, the tar road separated us from the beautiful rocks and sea. Place inside was 100% perfect, neat, clean and fresh. Owner made a lot of effort for us. Our car was left behind closed gates because our luggage was partly visible and we only slept there for 1 night. We didn't want to pack everything. Thanks for that.
We were received very kindly by the hostess who showed us the place and explained everything to us. We had a great stay and everything was in good working order. The one complaint we raised was promptly addressed and rectified to our satisfaction. I would definitely recommend the place, and if I ever pass by again, I would definitely book there again.
In response to my emails, I received complete and friendly feedback regarding condition of roads and flower viewing areas.

Friendly people. I ate the most delicious cheesecake. Not much for tourists to do.
The stove in the kitchen is rusted and does not function at all as desired. Both the 2 plates' heat cannot be controlled, it's either hot or cold. The pan and saucepan were also not washed well at all. We did not feel that it was hygienic to prepare food there. Even the braai area is dirty. However, the room and bathroom were pretty clean.
Albatross is perfectly situated just across the road with a lovely beach right on our doorstep. Beautiful view. The reception was very hospitable and Hester was very friendly and helpful. She immediately made us feel at home. Albatross Unit was neatly furnished with everything one needs. We would definitely love to stay at Albatross again when we go to Lamberts Bay!
There is very little to do in a 5 day holiday.

The people above and next to us were making a lot of noise and drinking. Nobody's fault, but wouldn't suggest you go there as a family if you're looking for peace.

We would advise anyone to spend the night there. Plekkie is well located for walking along the beach and a very nice view. It is also very child-friendly. I myself will check in again.
Hester and her team are friendly, hospitable and helpful. They make you feel at home and like family. It's safe and tidy. Would definitely go again anytime.
Neat accommodation right in front of the sea. We had everything we needed. I forgot our house keys when we left and Bea went out of her way to deliver them to us in Malmesbury where we also spent the night. Thank you very much. It really went the extra mile for us.

I think the highlight was when we were given another compartment which was much more private. The stay was worth it.

The premises are located in a convenient location. Close to shops and eateries. The view is very beautiful and offers absolute rest for the soul.
The unit and outbuildings are quite dilapidated and the photos on the website are not an accurate representation of the units. The paint is peeling everywhere, faucets are rusted in the shower, everything is old and run down. Also, there is no WiFi (not advertised as such, but WiFi is normally a given for guest accommodation).
Clean but expect more at that cost. No shampoos or soaps. Parking on the street and many vagrants who came knocking. Furniture very outdated. Bathroom neatly redone.
It was 6 wonderful days at Albatros. The weather was perfect. The evenings were so beautiful. The noise of the waves and sea birds. The locals we met and everyone was so helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back. Was sad to come home. Many thanks for the friendly staff. Our appreciation is very great.

Was so nice to make use of the accommodation. Hester welcomed us with open arms and even gave us a bigger unit than the one we booked because it was available to make our stay even more comfy.
The beach just across the road - what more do you want! We were a little worried about the location near the harbour but we only had a positive experience. We could experience some of the local lifestyle near the harbour, and that is something we are well suited to. The unit was neat and well-equipped. The owners also made an effort to accommodate us in another unit while upgrading the booked one. Good service definitely worth the money!
We enjoyed it and had excellent service. Only thing is the lack of secure off-street parking which can be a problem as Lamberts Bay is not so safe these days.
Relaxed and enjoyed a nice view from the balcony. Apartment clean, requires a renovation that is already being done with the other apartments. General feeling is not too safe, but it's like that all over the town. As a special favour we were provided with a lock-in parking, which was excellent customer service. There is only one available, but parking is also available on the street. The neighbors were extremely noisy until late, not sure whether they were guests/permanent residents, maybe/hopefully once. Service was great at all times!
Stayed in Rainbow 3. Insufficient ventilation - fan would help. Kitchen spacious and everything needed. Somewhat small.

Our units are self-catering so cleaning during stay is not included, however it can be arranged if needed and if possible. Extra fees might apply.Braai equipment is given and we do have a few iron pots available on request.
We have baby baths and a camping cot available if needed.
Functions are permitted by arrangement, the building is ideal for family reunions, but unruly behavior and/or disturbances are not allowed. No loud music or boom boxes, but soft music is allowed until 10pm.
Pets are welcome on arrangement, but we prefer to know what type and how many before hand, so we're able to prepare.
We ask guests not to smoke or use smoking products/devices in our units, we have ash trays stationed outside.
