Nice stay in a quiet, peaceful environment. Lacked nothing - comfortably furnished. Warm and homely atmosphere.

Everything was very neat, clean and decent. Although it was for one night, we didn't run into any shortages. The owner was very friendly and considerate. I would choose Albion again anytime as my home away from home and definitely recommend it to others.

Apart from the car gate which struggled after loadshedding, there were no other hitches.
Situated close to the hospital which is what we needed. Host is lovely! Clean and comfortable; we'll be back!
We stayed in the family suite of Albion B&B, as we were attending a course at the nearby varsity. The beds were comfy and warm, especially with electric blankets. The amenities were sufficient, like kettle, microwave, fridge and Wi-Fi was good. It would be great to include a curtain for the window in the double bedroom closest to the entrance walkway, as the motion detector light can be disturbing. We'd be happy to stay at Albion B&B again.

Had a warm welcome. Recommended the most delicious place to eat for dinner. On our return, Lucy went to close the room's curtains and made sure a light or two was turned on so we wouldn't have to come in in the dark. Would stay there again, anytime.
The pictures on the internet did not do justice to the place. The rooms were so spacious and big and the beds were also very comfortable. Louise was such a wonderful host. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. I will definitely recommend the B&B to anyone travelling with kids.

Little attention can be paid to detail, e.g. we were 4 people in the apartment, but there were only 2 cups put out. No milk in other housing unit. Place very neglected.
I didn't not like the breakfast and the room wasn't that clean.
We were on our way back from Jefferies. Very happy and left for Polokwane early the next morning.

I was surprised to see the place. It is a nice place and very centrally located. Louise, the owner, is very friendly and my breakfast was just as tasty and enough to keep me going until dinner time.

The owner was friendly and hospitable and the house is old, but very interesting if you like that kind of thing. The unit we got was neither part of the B&B nor a self-serves, so only had the minimum in. This created some problems, but on request we received ice and glasses, but had to eat out at a place close by on recommendation from the owner and enjoyed it. If one expect this unit, then one can prepare for it.
We reported to the owner that the shower's water needs attention. The water pressure isn't regular with spells of boiling and ice water, making it unpleasant.
Louise is very friendly and makes you feel right at home. Units are nice and big, spacious and comfortable. There are heaters and everything imaginable that helps with this Free State cold.

The hostess Louis was very friendly and helpful. We had to check in earlier due to from other commitments in the afternoon and she came to meet us. The place has a beautiful flower garden that makes you feel very welcome. The decor is very chic, there were fresh flowers from the garden next to the bed. I felt like an English 'Lady'. I also especially enjoyed the interesting books and magazines. Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy. I would definitely stay there again.

The stay was clean and safe, but a lot of things bothered me. The hostess put the heater in the room off when we were not there. We arrived late at night and then the room was cold. Duvets are paper thin. TV channels do not work. Electric blankets on the children's beds, but no plugs! Mattress is old. The rate was fair, but I would rather pay a little more (for an extra blanket on the bed!). Sorry, I will not stay here again.

From our first conversation with the owner, Louise, we felt welcome. We fell in love with this little B&B in Bloem and the warm, friendly service. The beautiful, clean rooms and delicious homemade crunchies and heaters switched on to warm the rooms before we arrived. It was everything you hope for but rarely get these days, after just one night we will miss the gorgeous Spotty Watson and the lovely Louise. This is a very cute place! Clean and tidy... and more than one would expect for the price. Good location and safe! Nice bedding and a warm blanket! Soft towels and spacious rooms! It really offers value for money.
It was very nice, but TV can be upgraded with DStv (sports channels).
