Super welcoming, neat and clean and very cosy, surrounded by beautiful art pieces that tell a beautiful story in every room. Felt so at home, 5-star rating indeed. Will definitely stay again and again! Warm, peaceful, and the ocean just down the road. Wow! Wow! Amazing stay, loved every minute.

One of those rare places where you can park your car and not move it for three days. Everything is within walking distance. Great restaurants, interesting craft markets and a well-stocked Spar.

During our time there there were 2 days of rain and so it was very difficult to dry clothes and towels. A suggestion is to provide more towels and also place a drying rack inside the unit.

It was advertised that there is WiFi, but it is only accessible outside and at the front door. No catchment in the living room, kitchen or bedrooms. We still had to buy data for all 4 phones. It was an unnecessary expense that could have been avoided if the WiFi had worked properly. We spent R600 to buy data for all 4 phones. My wife inquired about it and was able to get full signal inside the main house. The knives in the kitchen were blunt. If I had to grill steak and eat it, I wouldn't be able to cut my meat. These were clearly old knives that the woman could no longer use in her own home. The carpet under the bed in the master bedroom was dirty and creepy. There is an inappropriate painting of a naked woman in the place. We were uncomfortable with that because we still have children aged 9 and 13. The toilet in the second bathroom leaks water and the floor is permanently wet. The bedding and pillows in the place are also very old. It is clear that these are old things that the lady no longer wanted to use in her own home. The bathroom mats were washed and bleached. The TVs in the rooms also have problems. One's image was poor and the other's sound was poor. It gives the impression that it is old stuff that no longer works in the main house. My wife has photos and evidence of everything and it is available on request.

Our hostess went "above and beyond" to meet us with our vehicles (motorcycles) to ensure a safe and peaceful night. The cottage is beautifully furnished, the 2 extra rooms have 3/4 beds and we had to sleep tightly against each other - but in the winter this was not a problem. Was expecting a double bed in the extra rooms but wasn't a deal breaker. Walking distance from Wilderness hub. Lovely place. Thanks Liz!

Coming from Johannesburg, I was not realy satisfied that my car needs to sleep outside next to the road. Nothing did happen but was scared that something might happen and as it was my only transportation, would ruin evething if something did occur. Other than that, we had an awesome experience.
