Alexandria Country Inn is located just 65 km outside Bloemfontein, at the foot of the legendary Black Mountain - better known to the locals as Thaba N'chu Mountain, on the picturesque farm Alexandria. The Flanegan family has been farming on this precious land since 1916. It is said that Alexandria farm, with its breathtaking sunsets and old sandstone buildings, is one of the oldest in the district.

This off-the-grid cottage is solar-powered and can accommodate up to 4 adults with 2 small children, and comprises 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with a gas geyser, and a kitchen. The first bedroom contains a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom contains 2 single beds. A cot and a mattress are available to accommodate children only. The bathroom is fitted with a spa bath, a toilet and a washbasin. Linen and towels are provided.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, and cutlery and crockery. With a private entrance, you can relax and light a fire in the boma underneath a starry sky while listening to the night sounds of screech owls and faraway jackal. Your host will make sure that you are never short of braai wood.
