Rilda goes out of her way to ensure that everything is clean and tidy. She takes it upon herself to make it as comfortable as possible for the guests and pays attention to small details.
Wonderful stay, beautiful house, neat and clean, safe, with more facilities than any other holiday house we have stayed in.
Alika is surely the house with the most beautiful view of the sea! The apartment is very neat, nice and big and very well furnished. With power outages we still had WiFi, could watch TV, and there are 2 gas stoves which are very consumer friendly. The large (and very green) lawn was certainly my 3 year old's highlight. We are already planning our next visit to Alika's. They have set the standard for self-catering houses very high!
Rilda does everything in her power to make guests comfortable. From the preliminary booking to confirmation, she maintains personal contact with you. At check-in time she meets you at the unit to welcome you. Everything you need is in the unit and of good quality. The apartment is great and is cleaned painstakingly neatly. We rented the chalet. We are a family of four, our daughters are 11 years and 12 years old. We had a very comfortable stay. Rilda is the owner and was very helpful and we checked in easily. The chalet is very well equipped and has all the necessities for a comfortable holiday. We were working at the location and the WiFi was good enough to take conference calls. I underwent on-line training for 2 days and the Wi-Fi handled it comfortably. We will definitely rent the unit again if we holiday in Jongensfontein.
We rented the main house as well as the apartment for our whole family. It was absolutely perfect. One extra bathroom in the main house would be ideal. The rooms are luxurious, spacious and comfortable. The living areas are spacious and beautifully furnished. We can barbecue on the stoep which has a beautiful view of the sea or use the indoor barbecue on cooler evenings. The sea is a short walk from the house. Everything was really fantastic. Rilda went out of her way to make it comfortable and safe for a three year old and beyond that she was just helpful and friendly.

Baie groot en netjiese huis met 'n asemrowende uitsig oor Sandstrand en die see. Daar is alles wat nodig is in die huis om dit 'n onvergeeflike vakansie te maak. Rilda was ook baie besorg om seker te maak ons geniet ons vakansie. Hoogs aan te beveel.
We had the privilege of spending 10 days at Alika's where we also celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't complain about anything. The hostess, Rilda, was very helpful and even gave us a gift that will remind us of Jongensfontein and the great time we spent there.

The first thought one gets is how incredibly neat and complete the apartment is. The furniture, pictures are of high quality and the view is amazing. There are more facilities available than in most people's homes. It is highly recommended that this is not just a place to sleep, but one that one should set aside a day or two just to enjoy the place.

Alika's is an apartment under a house, but is extremely private. It is very well equipped, with a.o. a dishwasher and washing machine. The apartment is very tidy, but still child-friendly. The stairs from the road to the apartment are steep, so I would not recommend the apartment for people with physical limitations. The mattresses are nice and firm and we slept wonderfully. The view is truly as good as in the photos and the area is lovely quiet. We will stay at Alika's again as soon as possible. Our children were 4 and 7 during our visit.
The apartment has the most beautiful view of the beach and sea! Furthermore, it is very convenient with more than you need. It's quiet and you can really just sit back and relax. We will definitely go again.

We were absolutely satisfied with our stay at Akila's. This is an apartment under a residential house with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, with a lovely view of the sea. The apartment was very well equipped, comfortable and very spacious. The whole area is particularly peaceful and quiet. We would definitely recommend it.
