Keursee 89 is spacious with all the amenities one needs. The unit is located below the owners' house, but is still very private. Just note that there is a 2 km dirt road up the mountain to get to the accommodation. Many thanks to the host and hostess for their hospitality.

Terribly beautiful place surrounded with nature and a view of the sea. We rested very well and enjoyed our stay very much. Our room was made tidy every day. The place is equipped with everything you could need.
A beautiful place and we had a great stay. There was a very welcome little breakfast platter in the fridge. They also provide free charcoal and lighters for the Weber grill which is really good.
Very nice and quiet, ideal for someone who is not looking for too many people and wants to rest. Unfortunately was only there for two nights and also had to work a bit. Place was very clean and tidy, everything we needed was there.

Very nice place on the mountain overlooking the Bitou and Keurboom estuaries. Very quiet and very peaceful. Only complaint was the few dead insect carcasses we discovered in between the sheets the next morning.
Paid for 2 nights, only stayed one night. Firstly, the fact that you have to drive 1.9 km of dirt road was not good. The unit was clean, but not well used. The bedding was not fresh, we did not sleep at all, smelled very bad. There was a hand sized spider, plus small one in the unit. The unit is very well equipped. We lost R1500, but I saw no chance of staying there any longer. The fact that I chose unit 2, I was contacted to say I would be in unit 1 on Saturday and then move to unit 2 on Sunday, was unacceptable.

Booking says no children under 12 years. The unit next to us had a baby who kept us up all night.
Nice place. Quite far out of town. Cosy. But felt a little uneasy as we were the only people there and there were no security guards walking around. Alarms had to be switched on at night.
I suggest they mention the dirt road up the high slope on the site before the customer can know it is not on a tarmac but a single dirt road. There is also no restaurant. Have to leave the premises for food that is uncomfortable. But other than that it looks very nice.

Alkantmooi is truly alkant picture-beautiful! The Keursee chalets have a panoramic view of the Keurbooms River mouth and Plettenberg Bay. Definitely the most beautiful in the area! Keursee 2 (in which we stayed) is a very modern, luxurious, neat, spacious chalet with all facilities for a very pleasant, romantic, relaxed, safe and peaceful stay. The Fynbos breakfast, which was served on the chalet's wooden deck with the most beautiful view, was a special experience. This chalet is ideal for a honeymoon or special sleepover. We would definitely recommend it to someone who wants to experience something very special. Many thanks to Magdel and her team for the special effort to make our 35th wedding anniversary something special - your place and service are top notch!

It was a beautiful spacious unit with a breathtaking view. About 10 km outside Plettenberg Bay, but wonderful to drive everywhere.
View is really amazing. Lovely comfortable, tidy accommodation with everything you need. Would love to stay there again. There was one aspect that made me feel uncomfortable though, and that was the notes put up informing guests to be out strictly before 10am. I understand that it is necessary to keep to times, but the threat that you will have to pay for an extra day if you are out after 10:00 made me feel unwelcome. I've never had a stay left before, and I think that the vast majority of guests will be like me. It may not be necessary to make everyone who abides by the rules feel unwelcome about the small group of people who don't abide by them.

Warm and friendly welcome by Ena when we arrived. Beautiful accommodation but much smaller than the impression created with the photos we saw upfront. Basic utensils but missed a few items that would have been helpful for such a long stay - e.g. a decent small chopping knife, a lid for the frying pan. Staff came around to clean our unit every day, even on the public holiday (unexpected and much appreciated). Four complimentary breakfasts offered (2 people x 2 mornings). On the Wednesday when we had the first of the 2 breakfasts we only got to our destination for the day by 10h30 as they were not willing to serve breakfast before 9h00. We ended up cancelling the breakfast for the Friday morning as it is just too late in the day to have breakfast only at that time.
Alkantmooi offers a beautiful view over Plettenberg Bay and the Keurbooms River. The room is excellently equipped and well serviced every day. The huge breakfast was served in our room - hot and tasty. Definitely recommended. Mosquitoes were a bit of a problem, but spray was provided.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The unit was always nicely cleaned - always at a time when we were out. Delicious "snacks" found in the fridge upon our arrival. The view is picture perfect and you just can't get enough of it. Very well appointed - with everything you might need. The dirt path to the accommodation was well maintained, and felt safe.
We were looking for a place to just recharge batteries and get inspiration for work assignments that need to be done and planned and Alkantmooi was more than that. It's a fantastic view, quiet and a place to realize just how beautiful it is. Our country is and how nice the nature is. It's beautiful, clean and very friendly staff. On our first morning we had cold water, because the neighbours were probably "very dirty" and showered for an hour. Alkantmooi is definitely the right name for this place. Everything was beautiful: the view, the accommodation, the hospitality. We had an incredibly nice stay and felt very safe. It was 90% what made our vacation so enjoyable. Magdeld, her family and her staff are very helpful and hospitable. This self-catering unit was great in our opinion. Extremely clean, very well equipped with everything we found necessary, security was very good and there was really nothing we could criticize. We will definitely stop by again when we tour in that area.
