Stay was great but we were overcharged by the accommodation and are now trying to get our money back.
We were on our way to Botswana and Alldays is well located and easily accessible. Although the facilities are neat, they are not necessarily luxurious, but at R400pp it was value for money. The cook was another story! Her food and preparation surprised us and surprised even the picky eaters in our party with a well prepared and tasty plate of food. Portions were generous and we climbed into our beds satisfied. As Alldays is an overnight destination, I would suggest that a breakfast be made available for travelers who hit the road early in the morning, especially since there were no other opportunities available.
Light doesn't work, nothing tiles.
Reception at Alldays hotel was friendly and the room comfortable and clean. There is a lot of maintenance work to be done but nothing that was unusable. It's definitely a place where I will stay again.
No hot water. No generator.
When we arrived they didn't know we were coming. Fortunately, I took the confirmation papers with me. My reservation was for one double bed room and two single beds. We got 3 single beds. Lighting in the rooms was extremely poor, taps were loose and no or little hot water in the shower. Mosquitoes carried us away that night. Card machine not working, only cash was acceptable at restaurant and bar. My reservation was for two nights, but we checked out on Saturday and stayed at another lodge. Never again!
The hotel is not clean at all, the room and bedding were not clean.
