53 guests' feedbackEverything is there for self-catering accommodation. Fully equipped kitchen (no oven though), open plan bedroom and shower/toilet. Lovely area of Grabouw. However, there is no television, but the WiFi is strong and fast, so take your laptop or tablet. The town has a Pick n Pay and Shoprite.
We were received very friendly and warmly it was luxury and more with all that you needed. It was very safe and secure will highly recommend it.
I enjoyed it and my friends were in heaven. The place brought us close together. A new experience for us. We normally go for international travel. But it was amazing.
Couldn't have wished for better, spotlessly clean, superb host and perfectly situated accommodation for our needs. We will be back!

All the self-catering equipment we required was present. Beds were comfortable. Host Jean-Pierre and hostess Maya always ready to answer any questions we had about the area. Felt generally at home. We could walk in the large garden. The internet was excellent, quick and stable. During load shedding some lights were still active.
The unit was very clean and comfortable, with a lovely spacious bathroom and comfortable living area. The kitchen is equipped with everything one would need in a self-catering unit. The style inside and out on the porch was nicely detailed and I would recommend it anytime. Our hostess, Maya was exceptionally lovely with great attention to detail and no request was too big to handle. We would not want to choose any other accommodation if we are in the area again and look forward to our next visit.

The cottage was warm and comfortable. Maya kindly let me check in earlier and had thoughtfully lit a fire for me as the day was very chilly. The cottage had everything I required and was super comfortable and toasty and in a really pretty part of town. I had a great stay.

We didn't need anything more. This quaint self-catering cottage is situated in the most stunning area of Grabouw and was the best thing we could have asked for coming from the hustle and bustle of the Mother City. The hosts, Maya and Jean Pierre, were just amazing and so helpful when we needed it. The area around is so safe and plots in the surroundings feel like farms. Loads to do and very central to all activities that Grabouw/ Elgin has to offer, but at the same time staying in a cottage that feels like a little piece of heaven. The cottage itself is very private and you had your own braai firepit where you can relax in the evenings. We will definitely be back soon!
It has everything that we needed, the only exception being the lounge chairs were a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise very happy.

Maya received us very kindly and made sure we were settled in, we got to the cottage a little late and then she finished turning on the heaters for us so we could sleep nice and warm. The cottage itself is nice and tidy and has many extras such as biscuits, gowns, plenty of towels and delicious coffee. We will definitely book with Maya again if we have to stay overnight in Grabouw again.
