29 guests' feedbackWe spent an amazing week at the Geelslang Cottage. Great accommodation with all that you could need! We loved the outside verandah, braai area and pool, and the air cons when it got really hot. We were treated to visits by lots of animals during our stay!
Our stay was fantastic!
Very neat, spacious, clean, fantastic location. Highly recommend it. House is close to the fence of the Kruger, so you just watch animals all day. Cleaning service also available at additional reasonable fee.
It was magical. The location was perfect for viewing animals. The house was great for playing games, cooking, swimming, braais, and relaxing. The bonus tent was fantastic to sleep in and wake up to the sunrise over the Crocodile River and listen to animal calls during the night. The staff was wonderful, and communication was excellent. We have stayed at multiple properties in Marlouth, and this was our favorite location and house.

Very tidy with everything you need. The only recommendation I have is that an indication is given ahead of time that Geelslang House is not near the river. It is quite a distance away from where the main house is and where the website shows it to be located.

We had a great stay. Our every need was well accommodated and comfortable. The rooms are well-sized and the entertainment area is perfectly put together for outdoor living. We had loads of animal visitors from warthogs to kudu, wildebeest, and bush babies. In addition, there is a great view of the Crocodile River which gave us the opportunity to spot additional wildlife in the Kruger. I would highly recommend a visit for any larger group. A great little break for all of us.
Large house, rooms 5 and 6 are however very small and detached from the rest of the house.

It was very nice, the house is well taken care of. Just note that the house is not close to the other two more expensive units by the river. The house is about 1.5 km from the river, not really a nice walking path.

Well located thatched cottage that is not too close to traffic. Lots of animals in the area. Heard lions roaring.
We stayed in Eland house. Wow, it's incredibly beautiful, comfortable and luxurious. Everything you will need and more is there! Spacious and clean rooms with the most beautiful wooden furniture anywhere in the house. Ansie was in touch all the time and accommodated us a lot. If possible we would stay there again and recommend it to anyone with a clear heart!

The description is somewhat misleading. It looks like Geelslang house is part of Aloedale Kruger and is located in Seekoeiweg. Only when you read much further do you realize that it is 1 km away from Aloedale Kruger's address and not on the river at all. Cleaning services are apparently available but no one ever showed up for them.
A lovely cottage with everything that you need! The beds are very comfortable and the dishwasher was a treat! Our kids loved having the animals visit - something very special! Thank you for a memorable stay. Lots of wildlife and birds to see.
Stayed at Geelslang house. Was much more than we expected. By-road was a bit busy, but the animals still came to visit. House very comfortably furnished. All our queries on matters were addressed promptly. Thank you very much.
Stay was good. Location was not at all as advertised. Show that the house is in Sea Cow Street, overlooking the river. House is located in Geelslangstraat which is not close to the river at all.
Everything at Aloedale Kruger was fine the furniture was very good and beautiful since the place we went to was self catering all the utensils and the pots and dishes were provided.
Elandhuis is very spacious with the most beautiful solid wooden furniture. The solar power system makes the guests forget about Eskom's cascades.
The accommodation was not in the same place as indicated in the email causing enormous confusion in finding the real address - took almost 2 hours to get it sorted out. Will email Aloedale-Kruger direct on this issue, and the Openview decoder did not work and got absolutely no reaction to calls for days to fix it.
