Make sure to take your own toilet paper (we only got one and a half and we were 2 adults and 2 teens), coffee and black bags; there was only one. I could not find the bin outside, so not sure why there's no big bin, only the small one in the kitchen. Oh, and when I fetched the key, the lady wanted me to pay a breakage fee of R650. When I asked why, she said never mind. Bit weird.

The apartment had everything we needed. There is no oven, but you can prepare most of the food on the stove, grill and microwave. The rooms were big enough, but the living area is only nice if the weather doesn't cooperate. In general, the location is good and one can easily walk to the beach.
Place can do with a deep clean. And a little more updated when it comes to the bedding.
It's so peaceful and quit that I did not want to leave, I would go there anytime.

The place is very neat and beautiful. Had everything you need for a weekend away. Quiet area and safe. Service was excellent.
We had trouble sleeping as it sounded like a toilet flush every 5 minutes throughout the night. It was probably a pump, but it was very disturbing. We also found a full set of keys to the apartment in a bush next to the front door. It was worrying as we had already slept there the first night and only saw it the next morning. It was out in the open.
Great value for a short stay. The outside area was limited and not suitable for using for long periods. Inside there was everything we needed for our short stay.
Fantastic place. Provision for load shedding was made.
Ronnie is the best! The attention to small details such as the ear sticks, wine and chocolates makes it that much more personal and creates a feeling of home.

We were really amazed with the way in which we were welcomed at Aloha 2 although nobody was there in person to receive us. Hence we could experience the human touch that went into letting us feel at home by the decoration that was on the kitchen table and the clean accommodation for us.

We had such a great time relaxing. The cool breeze and fresh sea air was so welcome after the past few hot days in Cape Town. Enjoyed some good seafood. The beach is nice and close and we went down to the water every day. There are so many places to see in Paternoster. Will definitely return again.
Comfortable place with everything you need. We were only disappointed with the cleanliness of the place. We like to look at the reviews of previous visitors and get the idea that the place no longer belongs to the same owner. Extras like dish soap and hand washing soap are so few that you can barely get anything out of the bottle. Then specify instead that you must bring your own.
Aloha did not disappoint. I completely understand why the accommodation has a 5-star rating. The service received by Ronnie was excellent and we appreciate the extra effort. The unit is very well equipped for self-catering accommodation.

Right from the welcome to departure everything was perfect. Extremely clean and well equipped. The owners are complimented with the attention they give to the expectations to the smallest detail. (cotton wool, band aids, coffee and tea, wood and charcoal). We were welcomed with snacks and a bottle of wine! We got more than we expected. Definitely value for money and and highly recommend.

What a beautiful clean and tidy place. We were kindly received by Ronnie and she immediately made us feel at home. Not to mention the delicious treats she put on the table for us. We had such a great time and will definitely go back again. The unit is on the quieter side of Paternoster and very close to the sea and shops. It is equipped with everything one needs and extras that most self-catering units do not offer. The indoor fireplace was lovely for the cooler evenings and the outdoor barbecue for the sunnier days. Aloha is definitely a gem that I will be recommending to my friends and family.

We enjoyed our stay at Aloha. Was very surprised with extras such as bottle of red wine with snacks, biscuits, milk and sack of wood for fireplace or braai included in already very competitive overnight rates. The accommodation is also equipped with everything you might need like braai facilities, well-equipped kitchen and even electric blankets and fireplace for those colder winter nights.
Ronny welcomed us and left some little treats such as sherry, little cheesecakes, soaps, coffee/tea/milk, etc. It really made the stay special. Even though there was only 1 bathroom it was nice and spacious so it never felt uncomfortable. The beds were comfortable and clean with warm blankets. We struggled a bit with the WiFi, but overall it was superb accommodation.
Place was neat and clean. Owner made sure that we got all the little things you don't expect in a self-catering unit. Welcome wine and snacks. Even chocolates for the daughter.

And the indoor fireplace worked wonders for the chilly nights. Paternoster is a beautiful little town and Aloha 2 is perfectly situated, two-ticks then you at the beach! We really enjoyed our stay at Aloha 2 in Paternoster. Ronnie is such a lovely lady and her hospitality was amazing. Rooms were clean, neat and cosy. There is also a fire place in the lounge area which made the stay extra nice due to the cold weather. Everything you need you will find here. Thank you Ronnie for the complimentary bottle of wine and the marshmallows. The kids really enjoyed roasting them on the fire.

Aloha 2 is true value for money. Me and my family would love to return. If our plans work out we can hopefully return on Easter weekend. You literally only need to bring your wash cloth, toothbrush, toothpaste, clothes and food. The rest is already at Aloha.
