30 guests' feedbackI will come back again. I came to stay here for the Somerset Agricultural Show. I didn't get there until 22:00, but was still warmly received. Aloma House sits on the South Eastern side of town, away from everything, so it's peaceful and beautiful. It's private, the room is comfortable and everything you need is there. Everyone just walks through under load and unfortunately their generator wasn't working when I was there, but at least they have borehole water so you don't go without water. I have now found the place I will come to stay every time I am in Somerset East.
Would also recommend using the braai facilities.

Would definitely recommend Aloma House. This is the second time we book here for business visits and each time we have received nothing but friendly service. The accommodation is very neat and comfortable.
Room smelled slightly distressed. I deducted one star for cleanliness.
At the price they were charging it was lacking a lot of amenities. It's winter and I had to ask for electric blankets in the other room as 1 bed didn't have 1. The next night I discovered that my electric blanket didn't work as I did not use it the previous night. I was working from my room doing admin and came out of my room during the day to find out that all paths to my vehicle were blocked by sprinklers. Screaming for assistance but nobody around, I ended up having to run through the sprinklers with paperwork, which was ridiculous as they knew I was there.

Wish I could have been there for a few more days. I won't mind booking at Aloma House again and again when I visit Somerset East.

My TV did not work, there was no coffee (old and hard in the bottle) no milk, no WiFi in the room. I appreciate that I was allowed after the run to go back for a shower, but I did expect better and would have paid more if I had known what I was going to get.
Somerset East is somewhat off the beaten track. Having to make the visit, we were fortunate to choose an ideally located, super B&B establishment Aloma House.

The rooms are pretty and practical. Very nice bathroom. Really everything you need. I would have liked to park my vehicle off the street behind a safe gate. We will definitely stay there again!

I enjoyed my stay and will stay there again if I go to Somerset East. There was NO internet but it was advertised, and on TV one can only watch what is being watched in the main lounge, no choice.
This is a really nice guest house in a lovely garden, with partial views of the mountains around Somerset East. I had a very nice stay, but would have liked a table and chair in the room so that you could sit there and write.
