The Planetarium in town shows interesting 3D films and there are other private stargazing opportunities as well.

Everything was perfectly in place and we enjoyed it so much.
Very nice. Really just skipped over. House was tidy, each room has its own bathroom. It was delicious.
Place was very neat and clean. However, there was no one there when we got there. I had to ask neighbors where I could get the key to the unit. The double bed's mattress needs to be replaced (a bit mushy).

We had a nice stay, but were initially a bit skeptical about our choice. Had quite a bit of trouble getting the keys but was pleasantly surprised once we got inside. The unit is large and spacious, and very neat and well equipped. We were only two people and were really impressed that everything was included in the price. Really value for money.
Very friendly welcome. We wanted to do another tour the morning we had to check out. It was no problem to leave a little later.
My family (consisting of 4 family members) was really impressed with the facilities. The apartment was clean and spacious and everything advertised in the ad was there. 10 out of 10. The only problem we had and discussed with the owner was the absence of the WiFi. This was also the main reason why we chose Alpha housing unit. Luckily we only spent one night there.
Ideal accommodation for stargazing. Very clean and comfortable with each bedroom own bathroom.

We were received very kindly and were immediately put at ease. Everything was in working order. We as guests were always put first. There was also regular communication between the parties throughout our stay.
We were kindly received. Our stay was very pleasant.
The unit was neat and clean. The kitchen utensils and cutlery/crockery is a bit decrepit and not matching.
The bed in the master bedroom should be replaced and preferably a feather duvet and white bed linen against the Sutherland cold. Both rooms' towels were very damp, no fresh drinking water in rooms. No built braai. Just a little drum on paws.

What a pleasant surprise! Nice homely atmosphere, lovely fireplace and spotlessly clean!
The reception and hospitality was outstanding. We also thoroughly valued our freedom and privacy. The silence and tranquility only complement the stay. The owners are extremely friendly. We did not feel unsafe for a single moment.
We had a beautiful stay at Alpha. Very safe, very clean. The area was misty and beautiful. Cold has never looked so beautiful in my eyes.

We were only in Alpha for one night and the unit was very comfortable and affordable. We were disappointed that the hostess did not welcome us and only saw her upon departure the next day. It was a bit awkward to knock on the main house's door for information.
For the money paid, we expected a bit more.
The fireplace, heater and electric blankets on the bed were very nice. Apart from those it was pretty average. When I paid the final amount no receipt was given. It made me feel uncomfortable.
The fireplace, electric blanket and heater were winners with the cold weather we experienced. There is no canopy that can provide coolness and no nice braai facilities either. There is only a small freestanding braaier, the type with the A-frame legs. Nor is there a canopy or a tree under which you can park your vehicle. I think the owner can easily put a canopy on the long wall of his garage.
Lovely fireplace. Very nice and clean. Very hot water. Leave the TV off (in winter) and let the fireplace do the talking. Incredibly good time.

Alpha offers lovely overnight accommodation in a 2 bedroom cottage on the edge of town in a safe environment. There is DStv. Each room has its own bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. Cozy living room and very well equipped kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and only hit the road again in the morning after a delicious breakfast by our hostess. We can recommend the accommodation to other travelers with a clear mind!

We found the cottage suitable for our purpose.The disappointing part is that there was no hot water for showering or for washing up which was inconvenient .

The entrance to the guest house is a bit disappointing. The lady was in a hurry as she and her husband were on their way out. There was a small dog that was very disturbing. Luckily we only stayed one night.
This is a good option for overnight accommodation. Would not easily stay here with family and dog for more than one night. There is no indoor grill.
