We booked at 99, it was quite ok that we would only get there after 20h00. We were kindly welcomed, got nice treats in the room, and when load shedding hit us at 22h00 in the evening, it wasn't 5 minutes, then the generator was started and there we had power again. Thank you very much for all the small but important extras. Will definitely stay with you again.
We were pleasantly surprised. Excellent value for money. The hostess was very friendly, with clear instructions regarding the issues with drinking water in Bloemfontein, and she provided us with 5L of clean drinking water, which was a nice touch. Everything you could possibly need for an overnight stay was provided. Maybe, and this is really just the tiniest of niggles, we could have done with more milk for our breakfast cereal (we were too shy to ask).

The rooms are well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We even had a lovely braai under the lapa. The light breakfast includes cereals, yoghurt and delicious muffins. Extremely good value for money. The house is situated in a beautiful, safe and quiet neighbourhood. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for affordable and comfortable accommodations.
We had a lovely stay at Amandia. Amanda kindly agreed to let us check in early to drop our luggage as we came from Joburg to watch the Curry Cup final. The rooms are perfect for an overnight stay, with your own TV, coffee making facilities, bathroom and then a nice self-serve breakfast at the unit before hitting the road back to Joburg quite early. Safe parking available and you are close to several malls (Brewery & Still is around the corner and a must visit for some craft beer).

Excellent, comfortable facilities. Our time at Amandia Guest Rooms was short and hectic, but we didn't miss anything and would like to thank the Van Zyls for their warm welcome. The water is a problem. Because of extremely strong chlorine in the tank water my son and I developed an allergy after showering. My eyes and nose burned badly and was awake all night. Found a cockroach in the water kettle when we wanted to make coffee. No, stop.

Amandia Guest House has 3 rooms in a flatlet, the rooms share a kitchenette. Everything is very neat and clean. We stayed in the Red room which had a double bed and a sleeper couch. My adult daughter slept on the sleeper couch, which she said was not the most comfortable, although it would be fine for younger children. The room itself was spacious. The bathroom had a bath with a nice shower in the bath. There is an outside lapa area with tables and chairs and it was very relaxing to sit there with a drink or to have breakfast under the lapa.
Only stayed one night for a break on the way to Mozambique. Particularly clean and tidy. Friendly owners who are ready to help. Safe area and property. Would definitely recommend. Thank you very much.
For overnight stay, the location is perfect, quiet area, secure parking, red room was spacious enough for the four of us. And the breakfast muffins were delicious for road food.

Amandia is in a beautiful environment and you can really sleep well. Car is safely parked at the front door and it is also conveniently close for loading and unloading luggage. Room is well furnished with everything needed.

The rooms are so tidy and you have access to a shared kitchen, the area is safe and the place was spotless. WiFi was good, all the rooms have small study tables if you need to get some work done. The TV had enough channels and movie channels too. I will be back because the locaton is good. Close to Northridge Shopping Centre, and there is a nother little centre close by with a quaint hair dresser, pizza place, and a Spar.

We stopped at Amandia Guest House on our way back home from our holiday. We were well received and had a nice stay. There were no problems. We weren't looking for anything fancy, we just wanted to sleep well in a neat place and leave early the next morning and that's exactly what we got. So I would recommend it.
The only thing that bothered me a bit was that the bath in our room was very difficult to sit down or stand up with a partition for the shower that cannot be moved.
Good for overnight stop. Shared kitchen will work for longer stays if group lives together. Not quite so convenient for strangers to share a kitchen.
This is truly one of the best I've ever experienced, from the booking until the final goodbye on my departure. Everything was perfect, just as I expected. The TV didn't want to work, but it was repaired by Hermie very quickly (after hours). Highly recommended.

The three rooms are very well planned to use the spaces optimally so that wonderful spaces are created for everyone. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The enclosed shower over the bath may be replaced with a proper shower. With the current combination, neither works comfortably. I recommend the accommodation to everyone.
For December my partner and I decided to go on a road trip down to the Cape (passing Bloem to go down to East London and then along the coast). This was our first stop-over and it was a really lovely stay-over stop. The rooms are quaint and cozy, with their own bathroom and kitchenette. WiFi is available, which is always a bonus. The little touches in the room is also wonderful. Amandia is centrally located, easy to find and is close to a few of the malls, so if you wish to eat out for dinner, go watch a movie etc., everything is quite close by and easy to get to. The breakfast the following morning (a cooked meal at additional charge) was fantastic, and the hosts are lovely. The overall price is also very good. I definitely recommend this little guest house for anyone who need to stay over in Bloemfontein.

We could not get the room that was booked due to electrical problems. However, Amanda gave us a better, more expensive room for the same price. She is genuine and makes you feel immediately at home without exaggeration. The area is quiet yet close to everything one needs. I forgot some of my clothes in a hanging closet and Amanda was quick to call after we left to say that I had forgotten them. The shower and washing facilities are excellent and clean. The mattress and pillows are also some of the best I have ever found in a guest house. I will definitely stay there again.
