What an experience! The friendliest staff with incredibly beautiful places. There is so much to do to keep yourself busy, and the restaurant's food is a 10/10!

Stay was great, will always go there when in the area. The animals at the lodge are amazing, and listening to the lions at night and in the mornings is truly something special.

We had a nice stay but wanted to enjoy the silence of nature. However, there was a group of people playing loud music all night, and it completely soured the experience for us. You hear the lion roar, but it is drowned out by music and noise. We were also disappointed that there was only 1 lion and not a couple like in the past.
Chalets are laid out in such a way that if one of the adjoining chalets plays music, it has a negative effect on surrounding chalets. Management prominently mentions that no music is allowed, however enforcement of the rule is lacking. We had to repeatedly ask security to silence the family chalets' guests with little to no success.
We had a very comfortable stay - beautiful surroundings and very friendly staff.
The breakfast buffet is the only breakfast available, and it is expensive at R140 per person. When we went back for more sausages, there was only 1 left, and they did not offer to bring more. The shower and bathroom are very small and uncomfortable. For almost R900 per room per night, it is expensive. The cottages look more spacious, but they are almost double the price. The activities, such as the pool, were nice though.

I, unfortunately, got sick on the day of the trip, this we had to change our departure date to an earlier date. We were effectively assisted by changing the departure date and not being charged. The staff was very kind and helpful.

Janine immediately made us feel welcome with her excellent service and friendliness upon our arrival and during our stay. Was there with my 2 cousins, one of whom is disabled. All the staff treated her with the utmost love and respect. The Chalet was very luxurious and tidy. Fantastic view and scenery. Food was top quality and tasted fantastic. Our game drive led by Kabous was excellent and we had such a good laugh at him, especially when the ladies squealed so much when they saw a giraffe. His knowledge about the animals is fantastic and he has a friendly personality. Janine, Faith and Lydia, thank you again for all your love and care and all the other staff for your good service. I had a wonderful time but the cleaning ladies don't sweep the rooms. My kids were scared to sleep on the beds because we found bugs on their beds and under the beds. We had to do all the sweeping every day. They just washed dishes only.

We really enjoyed the evening in the nature reserve. The cottage is perfectly furnished, the beds were very comfortable and the lion's roar at night was unique. If it wasn't for the rain, we would have swam and gone on the game drives too. We also really enjoyed the visits to the beautiful leopard and the red cat in the 'Animal sanctuary'. We will definitely want to visit again and experience even more of Amanzi Game Reserve!
Beautiful scenery. Night sounds of wildlife and nature are calming. Delicious food at the restaurant and friendly people at reception. Wonderful game drive with very friendly wildlife expert who is very knowledgeable about the wildlife.
The only issue that actually got me off was the hygiene, the room seemed to not have been cleaned in a while. There was dust and spider webs. The sheets were stuffed. . That one factor that contributed to mw leaving the day before my due day.
We had so much fun during our stay, welcoming of guests was so friendly and giving information to clients. Accommodation was excellent. Clean inside and outside. Had a splendid day outside in the picnic area. Braai'ed until late in the evening. In general we had a wonderful stay and thank you for your hospitality.

Waking up to lions roaring early in the morning is an incredible experience. Our chalet was immaculate and perfectly suited to our needs.
We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the break, would love to do it again in the future, just wish we had the option, with where we were staying, to go for a walk/jog there too.
Not all the mountain chalets have a view, although they are advertised as such. We were 2 couples and one couple had to be satisfied with a viewless chalet of which the large bathroom and bedroom window overlooked other chalets' parking lots, so no privacy for them. When I complained about it, the response from the manager on duty was as follows: We can check out if we want (after driving 400 km there) and they cannot help us as they are fully booked. I found out that they did have family chalets available and suggested it as an alternative. So we spent the weekend in a family chalet. Mount Amanzi management's handling of the problem has left much to be desired and I would suggest attending a client care course.
Amanzi Private Game Reserve is an amazing place with very friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay so much and will definitely go back again.

We were very happy that we stayed in a ground floor unit. The shower door is a bit small and would have liked a fan in the living room. The service is excellent my wife had a stomach problem and there were 2 pieces of toast delivered to the unit for her because I was not there. We would love to go again to experience the game drives. We had 2 meals at the restaurant: excellent!

Slept well, linen, towels were clean, location was good and private (mountain hut), nice view.
The little ones really enjoyed it. We would recommend the place to anyone who likes to travel. The knowledge of the young lady who took us on the game drive is invaluable. The family chalets are wonderfully spacious and there is more than enough space to accommodate 8 to 10 people. My granddaughter said that when she gets married one day she would like to make this her "venue". Greetings from more than satisfied customers.

Our accommodation was lovely, everything nice and clean, the bathroom too. Would really have liked to pitch the tent on the grass. Other than that our game drive was great and our hostess who did the game drive with us, was really nice. We enjoyed lunch at the restaurant - unfortunately had to wait quite a while for the food - but it was worth it, the food was delicious!
The whole setup is beautiful. A pity about the directions in Brandfort i.e. left (from Bloemfontein) in Wes Street which isn't so easy to see. A full day, or more, would've bene better. The roar of the lions in the morning was unbelievable.
Upon our arrival we were greeted by extremely friendly and helpful staff. The campsite is very neat and very well laid out. The ablution facilities are very neat and are regularly serviced. In general, it had been a very nice weekend.

The variety of accommodation options include chalets, 2 of which are suitable for paraplegic guests, cottages, a honeymoon suite and guest rooms.
The lodge has a guest lounge with DStv, dining room and a self-catering kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, fridge, crockery and cutlery. The outside stoep offers a braai area, grid and chairs.
Undercover parking is provided. The Wild Olive Restaurant is a unique and beautiful restaurant situated in the main building near the entrance gate of Amanzi. A Real Wild Olive Tree is mounted in the centre of the restaurant that can host 120 guests. Trophies of lions, sables and a giraffe can be admired in the reception area.
The Bush Boma is an open air boma that host up to 180 guests for weddings and private celebrations. The Boma offers a thatched roof in a circle form to give shelter for the table seating. The braai area is in the centre of this venue for a real bush experience.
