There are 7km of beach front where the visitor can enjoy some excellent sea swimming in areas protected by shark nets. This stretch of coast line is also a favourite with anglers.
Lifeguards are almost directly in front of the building during peak seasons. At the main beach (walking distance), a water park, TV and live entertainment bar, Spur, swimming pools with kiddies slides and other restaurants will keep the entire family busy and entertained.
Further down in Beach Road is a lagoon where one can hire paddling boats or visit the amusement park with bumper cars, magic company arcade and tenpin bowling while parents enjoy a meal or something to drink in the restaurant.
On a rainy day, the Galleria shopping centre, that is situated approximately 2 km from the apartment will keep everybody busy with all kind of shops, ice rink, a cinema, an amusement park with Glow in the dark cave, mini golf, tenpin bowling, spin zone bumping cars and a variety of games to play. On my next vacation to Durban, Amanzimtoti's Ultimate Vacation is the first place to think about.
We had a nice stay, thank you, but it is just a bit far from the main beach and there is no swimming pool in the complex.
That is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beach.

The apartment was clean and there is high safety.
I should have paid a deposit later. We cleaned the apartment ourselves and went to. We also went through the stuff before unpacking. We saw that tumble dryers were then part of the dirt. I called and let them know that they should please come and get keys so that we can go through together. We were told to just put keys in the green box. After the time they let us know that the tag's cap was lost. Will not book with them again at all.

Amanzimtoti it’s a very nice place to be at. I enjoyed being at the beach.
The apartment is really nice and comfortable however there is only a 90 degree view of the beach. There is no pool or entertainment in the actual building for kids. The pictures needs to be more realistic for the price.
We had a great stay, it was safe and very peaceful. All we needed was around us.
The agent and the owner were friendly and kept us up to date about everything, while on our way they kept checking up whether we still travelling okay.

We had a very pleasant experience at Amanzimtoti's Ultimate Vacation. From the professional service to the facilities inside the apartment. It is very well appointed and walking distance from the beach which makes it very convenient. The main bedroom was nice and spacious, the extra room was a bit neat with the bunker double bed and separate single bed.
Upon arrival, everything was ready and arranged, the unit was clean and tidy and everything was in place. Very nice apartment.
The experience was great, the unit was super great. It's only the ladies who checked us in and out they were very rude and impatient.

Amanzimtoti's ultimate vacation has everything needed for a self-catering unit, it was clean and tidy and security was good.
In a nutshell: Tastefully furnished. Amenities excellent. Kitchen well equipped with everything you would need to feed a family. Beds comfortable. It was a pleasure to stay there and would love to do it again. Apartment also very tidy upon our arrival. Friendly welcome by the 'Dustbusters' even though we were a bit early. Stay close to the beach.
Hightly recommended. The experience was exceptional and it's a home away from home. You cannot ask for better. It is conveniently situated and a lovely flat with everything you will need. All you need is to arrive and leave with a smile.

Definitely value for money. Apartment very clean and tidy. We were also able to have a nice braai downstairs at the braai area!
The inventory list was not up to date. The driver who came to collect the keys said he knew about the things that were gone, and the apartment's owner had put in the wrong list.
Our apartment was on the 4th floor and faced North, so not with a direct view of the sea, but from the windows the beach could be seen. The unit is luxuriously furnished with everything needed and more. We were there out of season and the place was quiet and the grounds and buildings always neat and clean. A gate that opens from the parking area gives access to a path and steps down to the beach. This block is within walking distance of the local Spur and main beach. In general, we had a wonderful stay, very peaceful and often walked on the beach. The Toti Mall is about 1 km from the apartment and Galleria Mall with movies, hundreds of shops and restaurants within 5 km away.
The administration fee is a bit excessive in my opinion and the sea view is only on the side of the building. However, the unit is very neat and newly redone.
