Amare Cabin is a self-catering wooden house on the border of the Lion Spruit reserve, located in Marloth Park. The property is ideal for people with a love for nature and free-roaming animals that drop by daily.
The wooden house comprises a bedroom and 2 bathrooms and can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 small children. The bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed with a mosquito net and a double sleeper couch. The first bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin, while the second bathroom is fitted with a washbasin and free-standing bath.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, gas oven, a kettle for the stove, cutlery, and crockery. There is also a smoke alarm and a fire extinguisher.
The living area is furnished with two standalone chairs, a couch, and a coffee table. Board games can be found in the bottom drawer of the coffee table. There is not a TV. The living area opens onto the patio, which features a hanging "Bird's Nest" chair offering a view of the Leeuspruit Reserve. There is also a patio table with two chairs.
Guests are afforded unlimited Wi-Fi, secure covered parking, and a splash pool with two standalone wooden chairs that can be used by the pool. The braai area is located next to the boma and includes a rib stand and a clamp-style braai grid.
For load shedding, there is a gas stove, solar-powered lights, oil lamps, and rechargeable lights in the house.
Amare Cabin is also equipped with an alarm system that is available 24 hours. Regular patrols are conducted throughout the day and night. The alarm system is also fitted with a Panic Button. The door providing access to the cabin has a security gate.
On-site activities include bird watching, guided walks, swimming, cycling, game drives, and game viewing. All these activities are available, but some require prior booking and are subject to additional costs. At an additional cost, a spa treatment can also be booked. Spa treatments are conducted at the cabin.

Was a really great place to stay. It was really like in the pictures and the perfect place for a getaway from the rat race. First night the lions came very close to our place and roared which was an unforgettable experience. We were also treated to champagne and choklits. I will definitely visit the place again and advise people to stay here.
Great location, a loving home, and kind people. We had a ball.
The sofa bed is not suitable for sleeping and certainly cannot accommodate 2 children. The air conditioning does not work and so it was bitterly hot in the unit which disturbed rest and sleep.
