Friendly welcome but had to borrow a lighter from neighbors to light the gas stove in the unit for coffee water during power outage. No sugar for coffee. Only 'Enrista' available. Brought it to the owner's attention and he would only pay attention the next day.
Very nice and peaceful place. Chris is a host. He is quick to sort out any problems. Would definitely recommend the place to anyone who wants peace and quiet.
Very nice stay - was peaceful and host very helpful.
Think it's more for hunters and men. But can also visit there very quietly as a group. Think because of chicken farming, just take something with you for the flies. Nice close to Potgietersrus and dirt road not bad at all.
No cell phone reception. No WIFI. No prearranged entry with code. Road is very bad. No coffee in the room.
We will definitely sleep over at Amatava Lodge again.
