Accommodation comprises 18 rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. The interior of the rooms is based on the rounded forms of the traditional Zulu hut, creative and stylishly. For your comfort, all rooms are equipped with air-conditioning and a TV. Using only natural building elements and earth tone colors, the whole lodge exhales a serene atmosphere.
Establishment facilities include a stylish reception, swimming pool, a boma and lounge deck overlooking the village, and our lush inner garden. Breakfast can be taken in the lapa area. AmaZulu Lodge is not just offering you an accommodation option; this is Zululand at its best.
The region is also known as the Elephant Coast, which is 280 kilometres of unspoilt coastline on the Indian Ocean, stretching from St Lucia to the border of Mozambique. Inland of the coastal area, you are in the heart of Zululand, the Zulu kingdom with its splendid, undulating hills, lush savannah, and grasslands.
St Lucia village is situated on the southern border of the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park. This park of 328000 hectares, has such an ecological value, that in 1999 it has been declared by UNESCO protocol, as South Africa's first World Heritage Site.

13 guests' feedbackFriendly staff, beautiful accommodation and stunning pool area. We relaxed to the fullest and will most definitely be back.
I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely recommend it to friends.
The rooms have everything you need and are clean and tidy. Good value for money. We will stay there again in the future.
Michellé deserves a thumbs up for her friendly and efficient service at reception. It's good to know the place is managed so effectively, and it shows in every way, because one cannot find fault with anything at AmaZulu. We had a wonderful stay. The room is spacious, and so is the bathroom. The pool area is beautiful, and the breakfasts were very tasty. Although the site is not large, it feels as if you are somewhere far away in nature thanks to the leafy garden.
We didn't struggle with any of the arrangements - staff are very friendly and helpful.
Wish breakfast was more versatile but did enjoy the stay.
Pricey compared to other similar accomodation available in St Lucia.
We had fun, we had seasons in the sun. It was lovely. Staff is great, helpful and friendly.
We experienced a friendly welcome upon arrival. The rooms were well kept and everything in the room was up to standard and in good working order. The gardens were beautiful and the pool sparkling clean. The breakfast exceeded our expectation, it was delicious. We had a small snag in our room which was sorted out very quickly. The only recommendation is to add a larger variety of stations to the DStv bundle.
Very friendly reception and very good service. Would recommend for couples who want to get away from the noise of the city
If you want an African style lodge with thatched roofs and very nicely designed rooms, a small pool and jacuzzi in the midst of an inner courtyard surrounded by trees, in walking distance to all the attractions and with friendly service, this is your place. St Lucia at its best!
Every aspect of Amazulu Lodge met and surpassed my every expectation. I will definitely recommend Amazulu to friends and family as a first choice, if they are visiting St. Lucia. I will re-book with Amazulu for future visits to St.Lucia.
