19 guests' feedbackMy visit to Amber Collection was wonderful. The unit is very nice, neat and clean! Close to many restaurants and shops, just walking distance. It is also a very safe area to live in. Would definitely recommend to anyone, solo travelers and families.
Our unit's power kept tripping and Sonja then upgraded us. Very friendly and helpful.
We spent the night in the Loft. Was very impressed. Nice bed. Lots of space. Fireplace for cold evenings. Will definitely go there again.

We had a wonderful stay. The unit is very well equipped with everything needed. Everything is very nice clean and tidy. The only suggestion is that it is time to replace the mattress, but otherwise no complaints!
Pleasant stay but experienced a number of issues which were fixed on the same day. However, these are not unforeseen problems and should have been rectified before arrival.
Bedroom is far too small. No place to put luggage down. No towel rails. No hand rails in the shower. Not enough soap. Too stuffy. No bath.
Stayed at The Loft. Very cosy and comfortable spot. Lovely hot shower and the fireplace made the whole place toasty.
I would definitely recommend Amber Collection. Clean, neat, friendly person. It is worth visiting them. I will stay there again for sure.
Lovely little loft with everything we needed for our one-night stay. Easy arrangements were made to enable us to check out early.
We were a group of 6, delicious food made and enjoyed the fireplace, the braai place also nice and cozy, warm blankets helped for the cold nights!

The house has everything you need.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Amber Rest and got the gem. The spacious unit is equipped with everything you may need. The garden is a peaceful place - lush and green. We had privacy for the entire stay, which we enjoyed. Heavy curtains also block out the sun, good for sleeping in or just an afternoon nap. Check-in and out were quick and easy. The housekeeper was friendly and the unit was crisp. We had a warm welcome. The TV has good movie channels. While we stayed there we had the tv mostly on radio/music channels while playing board games by the braai area. Provisions were made for loadshedding, such as rechargeable lights and a power bank for phone charging. Professional communication and directions by the agent.
We stayed overnight at Amber Rest on Friday night, on our way to the Kruger National Park for a wedding. It was my first time in Mpumulanga and I wouldn't want to stay and explore anywhere else but Dullstroom (for the short time we were there). The place was neat and clean and gave us an immediate feeling of "rest". I honestly can't make one negative comment, on the contrary I just want to book in at Amber Rest soon for a long weekend and explore Dullstroom.
Small touches like providing a bag of wood, matches and a firelighters makes the difference.
