It was great! We had a very good time. The view is absolutely beautiful. There is also a great restaurant with delicious food nearby, right on the water within the secured complex.
Wonderful place. So beautiful and the view over the dam is breathtaking. The veranda is the nicest place to hang out with your better half and the sunrise you experience while lying in bed is indescribably beautiful. I didn't want to come home. So well equipped with everything you need. Pearl thinks of als. Would definitely recommend for a romantic getaway.

Everything was neat, but we were highly disappointed by the fact that in the cold weather we could not use the jaccuzi bath nor the shower, solar panels for geyser, water was ice cold.

We celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary and what a perfect getaway choice did we make. It took a romantic getaway to another level. Very private, a beautiful spa bath with spectacular views. The accommodation was equipped with all that one needs for a comfortable stay. Our host Pearl gave us a warm welcome and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. We will definitely return later in the year.

The location is good, located high enough to really appreciate the views. Beautifully laid out with beautiful art on all the walls. The kitchen is comfortable with everything needed to enjoy. Beds are clean, enough wardrobes. The hostess is available and always willing to help to make things even more convenient. The photos are exactly as the place looks, no unexpected "surprises". Keep the doors and windows closed in areas where there is no social traffic, the baboons come to visit and will run amok. Beautiful bird life and nice and quiet.

Stayed at Amber Moon for a few days. It was generally a lovely place, with a great view. The host was very welcoming. Take note that there's on-street parking, no WiFi, and no DStv, Netflix, etc. Nothing major because we still made the most of it.
The location is exceptional and we were very warmly welcomed. The view is beautiful and the unit very comfortably furnished. There is plenty to do in the area if you want to drive around, but there is no reason to if you just want to be peaceful. We had a wonderful time and would love to visit again.

Hartbeespoort has an incredible number of attractions, but all you really want to do is sit on Amber Moon's stoep and truly experience the natural beauty to the fullest! The Kosmos Village brings back many memories, especially for those who sat transfixed in front of the TV and watched Afrikaans TV series, such as "Onder drai die duiwel rond". Pearl, you have a little piece of heaven!
It's an amazing house with an incredible view and the hosts really went out of their way to look after you! Loved it and will be back again for sure.

The place is very nicely located with a nice view of the dam. Nice patio with gas grill. Rooms are really nice and big and lots of space. Bathrooms in all 2 rooms nice and big with spa bath.
All arrangements were unbeatable! From the entry at the security gate up to and including check-out on Sunday 17/11/2019. We were very kindly received by aunt Pearl and she took us through the entire gallery and explained everything - from how the remote control for the television and DStv decoder works to the water we should not drink from the taps. We lacked absolutely nothing - from insect killer to bubble bath for the spa hot tub. The gallery was clean and tidy - no photos do justice to how beautiful the place and view is! Best of all was the privacy of the porch, and even though Pearl has access to the gallery from her home, she never once invaded our privacy. Amber Moon is truly a gem and Pearl is the best hostess we have ever had. We will definitely be enjoying a weekend break here again in the near future!

Kosmos is about 7 km from the markets at Harties, Amber Moon has a very good view of the dam and is ideal for a weekend break. The hostess was very helpful and our room had a very good bed, with a spacious veranda as well as a spa bath. Man that was fun.
We were greeted by our hostess Pearl Pols who makes you feel like family the moment you arrive. Everything was thoroughly pointed out in terms of the unit's facilities and entertainment around the area. We will definitely have a rest at Amber Moon again one day.

A lovely clean apartment with spectacular views of the Hartbeespoort dam. The owners Pearl and Wilfred were lovely and provided many thoughtful items that you need when arriving at a destination. The apartment felt very safe and the owners provided a garage for parking the car. We think that Amber Moon over delivered on our expectations. We have no hesitation in recommending Amber Moon to anyone and we will return if we visit the area again. Thanks again to Pearl and Wilfred who made our stay memorable.
Amber Moon was definitely a guest house that exceeded my expectations. Pearl's arrangements were on the number. Easily entered the security area. Everything was arranged right at the gate. Reception was very friendly and you immediately felt at home and comfortable. View of the Hartebeespoort Dam and mountains in the background was very beautiful and at night lights from neighborhoods are also very beautiful. From kitchen to bedroom very neat and clean. The photos on the site does not do it justice. The view from the big balcony, bedroom and bathroom is amazing. There is a gas braai on the balcony. We spent all our time there just relaxing on the stoep. It was hard to do anything else! The apartment is thoughtfully fitted out with little extra touches that makes you feel at home.
