Had a relaxing few days of doing nothing and just enjoying the quiet and tranquility of Pringle Bay. Being one with nature is an understatement as the baboons are all over the place. We were mesmerized by the troops, but then again, we are invading their space. Ambleside has one of the best views that we have had in Pringle Bay yet. Thank you to Nicola for hosting us.
Really enjoyed the Lavender Room. We needed a simple base to enjoy our weekend from and were pleasantly surprised with coffee, tea, sugar, towels, milk and even shower gel. I'm more of a camping guy and always have those things handy and wasn't expecting it at all, for the great rate. Nicola is a wonderful host, that communicated so well with me. Thank you very much. We hope to be back.
The house was very neat and comfortable, the view of the sunrise and stars from the balcony was wonderful, our hosts were very friendly and gave us great recommendations of what to do in the area.
Nicola and John couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The electricity was off throughout Pringle Bay and Bettys Bay for a few hours on our first evening there, Nicola provided us with special LED lights and flasks of boiling water so I could make coffee.
Had a great stay was very happy with the surroundings and will visit Pringle Bay again.
Everything we needed was in the accommodation. I will definitely return in the future.
The location of the flat is ideal for a couple who want to escape the noise and lights of the city. The flat is very well equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal. The restaurants are only a short walk away as well. The bed is very comfortable and the view from the lounge is breathtaking. Great hostess as well. Very friendly and accommodating.
The best getaway ever! The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable and the natural beauty "swallows" you completely.
Ambleside was very neat, spacious, comfortable and there was lots of sunlight in the place. Perfect for a chilled getaway.
The only negative thing is that the room didn't have a stove or microwave and it wasn't self-catering. The instructions to get there weren't very clear.
Expected a bit more. Very quiet and peaceful. Was a bit worried about parking. Perfect for if you're just looking for silence.
The owners of Ambleside are very friendly, but the unit is definitely overpriced for what you get. For R715 per night one expects a well-equipped self-catering unit, which Ambleside is certainly not. With no oven or proper cutlery or crockery, even a nice meal cannot be prepared. The bedroom was very neat and the bedding very nice and clean. Unfortunately we cut our stay short by a day. We were very disappointed.
