Amelia's by the Sea was a wonderful experience. The rooms are for sure the cleanest, well equipped units I have ever stayed in. Tony and Jeanne make you feel so welcome. They know how to be comfortable with guests and are always very helpful with any request. The rooms' interior design is very tastefully done and gives a feeling of friendship and togetherness. The view from the stoep is breathtakingly beautiful. The beautiful garden enhances the feeling of vacation and tranquility.

I have never had such a clean and tidy stay in my life. There were so many extras like makeup remover, face pads, cleansers, great shampoo and conditioner and body wash to name a few. The bedding is luxurious. It is a perfect getaway from one's own home to a place that feels like home. Jeanne is friendly, generous and helpful and very accommodating. The view was fantastic and the atmosphere great! We would go back any day. Best value for money!

I don't have words for how impeccable and luxurious this guesthouse is. Everything is just perfect. The sea view is stunning. There's a lovely garden area where one can sit and have a cup of tea/coffee. We stayed in the Sailor's Suite. It was super clean and beautifully decorated. Jeanne and Tony were wonderful. We were in a beautiful spacious suite with living room, kitchen and bedroom. Everything super clean, well equipped and beautiful. View very nice and the small garden in front is beautiful with outdoor chairs, table and barbecue area. Beautiful lights in the evening. Tony and Jean are very hospitable and helpful. We will definitely stay there again!

Jeanne and Tony, the proprietors are very warm and welcoming. In fact, even before and during the drive from Cape Town, they were checking in on me and were concerned about my safety as the weather was sub optimal. When you arrive you are greeted by an impeccably clean and comfortable room that has well appointed furniture and appliances. The bed ensured sleep quality was tip top, the bathroom was well equipped with a good amount of hot water and adequate pressure. There is ample cupboard space and also a desk one can use for work. There is free Wifi, DStv and Netflix, but most importantly, a guidebook that will detail what activities and sights the nearby areas have to offer - from restaurants, museums, sights, and of course the beautiful white sanded beach. The hosts also offered as options, breakfast and laundry services that were delectable and convenient. They also go the extra mile assisting in booking you for your restaurant or game drive experience. All in all, my stay here was quiet, peaceful, restful and rejuvenating. It is like being cared for at home by family.
Hosts were wonderfully attentive to ensuring we were always comfortable. The room was beautiful and had so much attention to detail. They recommended places to visit in the area and were very friendly.

Jeanne and Tony where excellent hosts, went the extra mile for us. The establishment is incredibly well structured in terms of layout, design and overall use. Kitchen is 100%. Working areas for laptops is great, enough electrical connection points, full DStv bouquet. Linen is fresh and mint, such a warm welcome. This was an incredible stay, I will return anytime. I have already updated family and business network on the establishment and for all visits to the area I will be using Jeanne and Tony!
We stayed in the Sailor Suite for just one night on our way back to the Cape. The apartment is neat, stylish and has everything you need. The owners go to great lengths to make you feel welcome by greeting you warmly and giving you extra goodies (such as cupcakes). It was truly a pleasure to stay here.

Lovely guest house. One of the best guesthouses I've ever stayed in and I say this as someone who often travels for work. The reason for this is for all the little, additional things they do; everything done right. The owners are wonderful people and take real pride in what they have built. I will definitely go to Amelia's again in the future when I do work in that area.

I haven’t felt so good, rested and relaxed in long time. I am refreshed and rejuvenated, I feel content. My husband and I had a great time and since I was at the guesthouse most of the time, I enjoyed it more. Jeanne and Tony are awesome people and your establishment even more so. I always look for that something when away from home, that something does not have a name and I cannot describe it to you, you just know that you have arrived at the place where that special something is hiding. you feel it, smell it, taste it, can almost touch it, you want to hug it forever and be selfish about it. You are at peace, at a wonderful place. That something you want to pack away and not share with anyone, you want to treasure and nurture it. Jeanne and Tony, that’s what I have experienced. You have a beautiful and stunning place, awesome, it’s like a retreat from the rat race, physically and mentally. The peace, silence, tranquillity, sea views wherever you relax on your premises, the sound of the waves, the smell of the ocean, nature, the closeness to our Heavenly Father, the positive energy flowing in and around your house and from within. Newly renovated and beautifully furnished. Clean, tidy and everything you can dream of. The beds are very comfortable and the linen is clean. They really go the extra mile.
