Erica was responsive and helpful when we arrived. The place suited our purposes for an overnight stay. It is quite small and we could hear noise from next door tenants as walls are thin. All in all the set up was functional and had everything we needed. I like that the place has excellent security.

When we look for accommodation, it must meet a few requirements: Not be too expensive - Ammabed met this. Security and safety must be good - Ammabed complied with this. Vehicle must be able to park safely and preferably under cover - Ammabed has complied with this. Vehicle be as close as possible to our accommodation - At Ammabed you park right in front of the door of the room under a canopy. There must be a kitchenette with the basic amenities, such as a sink, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery and a stove - Ammabed has it. Erika, owner, also replenished the bags of coffee, tea, milk and sugar in the kitchen every day as needed. Comfortable shower and hot water - Ammabed has it. Towels are provided and Erika makes sure that there are dry towels every day. Privacy - Ammabed has it. Air conditioning - Ammabed has it. A comfortable bed and good mattress - Ammabed has it. Not in a noisy environment - Ammabed has it. We don't watch TV, but there is even a TV for people who prefer it. There is also extra seating outside and people who want to barbecue can also barbecue. Ammabed also has WiFi, which we found very convenient. Erika received us very kindly and showed and explained everything very nicely. The place itself appears small, but it completely met our requirements. The toilet and bathroom are at the back of the room and have a sliding door for the necessary privacy. The shower is nice and spacious and has a wonderfully large shower head, very convenient. In the room there is a folding table for extra storage space or to eat with and there are also two chairs with lovely backrests. With load shedding, the lights still stayed on, although the power plugs were indeed out of power for that time. The shops are about 850m away. We just walked there. Erika took really good care of us the three nights we stayed there, thank you very much!

We had such a nice stay at Ammabed Accommodation that we will recommend it over and over again. Upon check-in, it felt like we had arrived with family, rather than a strange hostess. The unit is well maintained, painfully neat, well equipped (the shower is very luxurious) and we lacked nothing. Will book there again if we need to stay in the area.

I can't fault them for cleanliness. It is very clean and just what you need if it's a one-night stayover. However, the wall between the 2 units is really thin and everything can be heard, including snoring!
