It has been designed principally by Kevin MacGarry of Architects Collaborative, with assistance from the owner, who has been nurturing the site for some 4 decades. The visitor to this truly unique destination will be forgiven if he or she felt a distinct sensory overload as there is so much to take in, explore and experience. From the breathtaking view of the gorge to the private Zulu art collection in each of the 10 suites, Ammazulu African Palace is a place that will capture your imagination every time you return.

Stay was very nice. Reception was one of the best. Will definitely stay there again. Breakfast was top notch.
It is an amazingly unusual place. Take your time to look at everything, the Architecture and Art is amazing.
We had a very nice stay, room 3's shower just wouldn't drain the water, and the patio door wouldn't close at all. There was a roof leak in the Presidential suite, and outside in the hallway.

Many thanks to our hostess Alta, her service was outstanding, she accommodated all our needs, and made our stay really comfortable.
Extremely interesting accommodation and great experience.
The only thing I would change is to have individual tables in the dining room, so you and your partner can eat separately and not together with others (strangers) around one big table. Variation on the breakfast menu for guests staying longer than one day can also possibly be looked at.
