We supply all bedding and towels.

The facility is close to the N3, and Johannesburg CBD is a mere 45 Km from it, making it ideal for commuting to and from Johannesburg, while still providing small town tranquillity and hospitality. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, with a fridge, stove, microwave oven, crockery and cutlery, as well as ample cooking utensils. Cleaning service is provided on a daily basis during week days.
Guests can be received from 14H00, and rooms have to be vacated by 11H00.
4 TV sets are installed, and DStv is available. Regrettably the facility is a No-smoking area.

We felt very welcome, the place is very comfortable and nicely decorated.
It is not always easy to find decent self-catering accommodation in small towns. Ancient Days Guest Cottage did not disappoint. We were warmly received and no request was too big. The cottage is well-equipped, clean and safe. Thank you for taking such good care of us. looking forward to spending time with you again in October/November.

Needed a place to sleep for long road ahead. Slept very well and it was one of the nicest and cleanest places I have ever found at LekkeSlaap.
We were attending a school function and didn't want to drive back to Three Rivers late at night, so decided to spend the night instead.
Unfortunately, an alarm started ringing at 4 in the morning in the upstairs room and we couldn't turn it off. I think it was because load shedding.
Everything was nice and clean and it's very beautiful. The electric blankets were a plus point.
We enjoyed our evening, although we only slept there. Hostess was very friendly and helpful.

Went to Heidelberg for a heritage weekend. Ancient Days is part of the heritage and Victorian atmosphere. Conveniently located to also walk the Suikerbosrand hiking trail.
Stayed in Stone Cottage. Was surprised by cleanliness of the place. Sheets and towels were 'squeaky' clean. Lots of interesting antiques on site. Weather was cold and wet and there was actually an electric blanket on the bed and heater in cottages.

The apartment was beautifully and tastefully furnished. It was freezing cold and the warm blankets on the bed made the stay 5 star! Everything was silver clean.

We had to attend a function in Heidelberg and so returned very late in the evening. The 2 cottages have a separate entrance from the street and it didn't feel like we were bothering anyone. I would just suggest that the entrance door is equipped with a security gate. The windows do have burglar bars in front. We will definitely book again at Ancient Days Guest Cottage.

Well-equipped units in a peaceful atmosphere and very good location. Restaurants and centers within reach. Safe and easily accessible. Ideal for accommodation in the East Rand area.

We were returning to Durban from a funeral in Johannesburg so ours was a very quick in and out trip and just needed a bed for the night so we didn't stay long enough to be able to give a proper assessment, but all in all it served our needs. Thanks.

The cottage is very cute and creatively furnished. The bed slept incredibly comfortable. Everything you could possibly need is in the cottage. I felt very much at home.
Directions was clear but was very dark on arrival because there were no street lights. Room was very neat and well equipped with heaters and electric blankets. Close to hospital, so you hear ambulances come and go. In general, a very nice place and will go back.

Convenient, private and homely.
We were looking for an overnight stay and received a warm reception by our host and his wife, as well as 4 cute dogs. We felt at home and had a great time. Lots of space is a luxury these days. Thank you to LekkeSlaap who handled the arrangements to move the booking.
