Our family of 6 had a great time staying in this unique wooden house. The master bedroom is private and extra special with lots of atmosphere and its own kitchenette. Beautiful views and nice braai area offered us everything we wanted.
Everyone complains about stairs, but it's good exercise, just my opinion. It was nice to feel like I got the good stuff in on a peaceful, laid-back weekend.
It was value for money. Nice view of the river and area.
The accommodation is excellent, the host is extremely helpful and friendly. If you are looking for peace and quiet, with a magical element you wont be disappointed.
Johan was an awesome host and really went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. He was available via phone when we got lost while exploring and had a lot of suggestions for what to do. We had breakfast at the venue and it was absolutely awesome. The decor was great - focused on Ancient Soul Space, most definitely. A great place to recuperate!
Good location and friendly management!
I think it should be mentioned that there are steep stairs which can be a problem for older people and people with mobility problems. However, the host is always on hand to help with luggage.
Our time was lovely there and would return in the near future.
If you want to get away from the city and seek tranquility this is definitely the place, words cannot describe how nice we had a good time will definitely go again.

Fantastic place to unwind.
I would recommend anyone to relax there at least once, especially the people in and around Johannesburg who are looking for a break and want to return to work refreshed. The place is really comfortable with more than enough space if there are more than 2 of you. Only one negative if anyone has a leg problem, he/she/they won't be able to stay there because there are quite a lot of stairs, but it's worth it because the view is breathtaking as you look down on the river and surrounding area .
Picturesque surroundings, the peace and quiet is palpable. Guest rooms are "cozy" and speak of care. I would recommend it to any traveler in the world, thank you very much again!
The owner is particular about guests and simply goes out of his way to help guests, very friendly.
