My father and I traveled together and we rested very well. It's beautiful on the farm. Everything very neat and clean. All the amenities we needed were available. Very comfortable beds and bedding. Felt very safe with 24 hour security cameras.

Nelrize immediately makes you feel welcome on this farm and the accommodation pleasantly surprised us - I was quite skeptical because it is so cheap! The unit is extremely neat with the most beautiful decor and a beautiful view. The farm animals that come to greet you in the morning make this stay extra special. We will definitely stay here again!
It was a lovely mini-break to just recharge the batteries and relax. The kids love just going for walks, something they can't really do in the city. (Mother Hen is amazing!) Nelrize is incredibly hospitable and makes a lot of effort. I definitely recommend.

Boerhospitality like few. Cold or not, there is something magical about the blue of a Free State winter morning, the crowing of an awake rooster, the calm lowing of cattle and the braying of the cute donkey around. Hostess prepared excellent dishes on request which was very welcome after a hard day (or before one started). Worth it!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stopover at Anders@Koppiesvlei and wish we could have stayed a few days more. From the warm welcome by the owner to the lovely and clean cottage, and all the wonderful farm animals. We had a delicious breakfast and cappuccino made by the owner and a lovely tour of the farm with such an interesting story of the farm's history. The gift shop with creations by the owner is so well-priced with beautiful original items. We can't wait to come back!

This is the place to be if you are looking for peace and silence for your soul. Food was great, especially the braai. The host is accommodating and friendly. Clean and beautiful room. I will definitely be visiting again. All animals on the farm were so welcoming and friendly.

We had an amazing time on Anders @ Koppiesvlei. Nelrize and Herman literally go out of their way - whether it's thunderstorms, rain or late at night if you need something they are ready to help and satisfy their guests. A peaceful farm atmosphere.

The wide silences and tranquility calm one's mind. Our teenage granddaughters enjoyed the silence and tranquility with their 10 and 8 year old nephews. The interaction with the donkeys, cattle, bunnies, chickens, dogs and horses was completely different and refreshing for those who live permanently in an environment with wild animals. The friendliness of the owners was very pleasant and we had a great time.
Nelrize is very friendly and hospitable. Farm is nicely and interestingly decorated with old tin plates and other items. Decorations of rust products are beautiful. We and our children really enjoyed the farm animals, silence and sunrise.
