We booked 3 rooms for our stopover on the way to the Kruger Park. All rooms were adequate and can recommend Angels Haven.

The place is easy to get to, is very close to shopping malls. It is the ideal place for an overnight stay. Would have felt safer if there was an electric fencing.

Parking a bit of a problem.
Concern for me is not having a bath, showers are fine for men, but not for a woman. A woman needs a bath, not a shower. They should at least have a provision for breakfast. We booked numbers 3 and 4, but we were given 4 and 5.
Sleeping over was comfortable and it's a bonus that there was WiFi too.
Our room door could not lock from the inside or outside. Had to sleep with an open door.

Sliding door jamming and rain poured at me for 5 minutes. TV remote broken, parking was full of mud, the sound of electric appliances at the salon next to room 2 was unbearable, could hear all the conversations they had. Dangerous exit at a traffic light, cars come speeding when turning left at yielding area. Room 2 is too small for a family of 4. There is a basin in the kitchen, with 4 each cutleries and no dishcloth to wash these after use. Place ideal for one night only.
Better directions, salon visitors next door come knocking every time because there are not enough directions.

We stayed at Angels Haven when we were travelling from Johannesburg to Cape Town for relocation. We had pets which needed to be accommodated and the accommodation was exceptionally good for them and the rest of the family. It was also great that we were able to arrive quite late and there was somebody who was available to check us in.
Accommodation 10 hours from Seepunt. Location is right because it's in front of Bloemfontein. So neat and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Value for money for the 1 night stay.
Rooms and bedding and towels nice and clean and the cleaning staff is very friendly. Parking not sufficient with salon and B&B late afternoon. Sprayers for garden not aligned for the garden only, it also sprayed over the vehicles (not a major problem).
We didn't see anyone except cleaners. Check-in time was 14:00. We were there at 14:30 and the cleaner was still cleaning. The carpet in front of the shower was soaking wet. The shower was not a shower. Broken cupboard was in the bathroom. The sheets were stained with brown and yellow spots. The white top sheet was brown and awful. Coffee was available but the cups were dirty. We had to rinse the cups out in the same sink where we washed our hands after using the toilet. We were in Room 1.
Room did not smell nice.
Wilma made us feel welcome right away while the room awaited us wonderfully cool. The first morning's breakfast was one big surprise. Walking into the dining hall I could smell the usual bacon and eggs, but Wilma surprised us with a stuffed omelet draped with bacon and cheese. It was hopelessly too much after the yogurt and muesli already on the table. We come and go as we please and received a friendly greeting through the window from Wilma when we were back at our place just before 12 o'clock on Saturday evening. On Sunday morning there was load shedding, but it did not stand in Wilma's way to surprise us once again with a king's breakfast consisting of toast with fried eggs, bacon and cheese with a chicken schnitzel. We were all quite sad to pack the road back to Pretoria again, because we were all already wondering what Wilma was going to prepare for breakfast on Monday and then serve with her friendly smile and good conversation.
The receptionist received us with great hospitality on a very hot day and went out of her way to make everything smooth and with a lot of kindness extra to make everyone happy, 100% plus recommendation.

We arrived there tired after a whole day of driving. The beds sleep fantastically and we were all well rested by the next morning. Angels Haven is comfortable and the service from the staff was really very good, and they were so friendly. Location also good.
The room was neat, bedding was new and clean. The swimming pool was welcoming for the whole family in 35 degrees. Breakfast was basic, but nice. Only recommendation is better quality coffee.
This was the most cost efficient option available in the area. Place is clean and site is neat. The breakfasts were wonderful and the staff friendly. The single beds in one of the rooms did not have fitted sheets or any type of covering, and the bases were broken and therefore not very comfortable.
I didn't think the bedding was clean. But it was all right for a vininge one night sleepover.

Clean, but without that touch of hospitality. No mattress protectors and the pillows not on standard. Bathroom improvements not yet finished. Open cement. Nice try from the staff.
The receptionist was friendly, and that's about it. The walls were dirty. One bed had no pillows. The main bed's bedding was dirty, we just slept on top of it with our own stuff. The air conditioning was leaking inside the room, and when we reported it, they said there was nothing they could do about it because the owner took the stuff they needed to clean the overflow pipe with. So we just borrowed a bucket with towels and had a dripping air conditioner all night. The "crystal blue" pool was greener than the grass which no longer exists as everything is paved. They should at least update their photos. We were very unhappy with how dirty the water was, couldn't even swim and it was so hot. Will not go back again.
Our very first bad experience! The email with details of address was then completely different from where we actually slept at the time. We had to move cars around in the middle of the night so other people could fit in and again the next morning. What is presented on the information page of the guest house is in no way what we received. The other residents' smoking and television dramas could not be avoided in any way as solid walls do not separate your living space from the other guests. I will never use this guest house again.

Very disappointed. It was neat and clean, but maintenance needs drastic attention. The fan in the bathroom was out of order and the shower door wouldn't close. All lights do not work.
I would say that some maintenance needs to be done at Angels Haven Guesthouse. We stayed in Room 2 on our way up and we really battled to lock or unlock the door. The TV did not work properly and there were not enough towels in the room. We were told that they do not have enough clean towels. On our way back we stayed in Room 6 and again we battled lo lock the door. The next morning we were supposed to have breakfast at 07:00 which we paid for. At 07:20 we left without having breakfast as there was no one to make breakfast.
Expected more, photos on website are very misleading.
Pathetic service. We did not have a nice experience at Angels Haven at all. We checked in at 6 o'clock in the evening, then our room was not ready. There were no towels, the kettle didn't work, there was no sugar in our room and the shower door couldn't even close. We asked to have breakfast at 7 o'clock as we had to be at a school at 8 o'clock. When we went to eat at 7:15, we were told that the workers didn't start working until 7 and we had to wait a bit for our food because they only started cooking then. This after we were told that breakfast is served between 7 and 9 o'clock. The cereal containers were empty. We then asked for more cereal flakes and then got the answer that they were out. We ended up driving without breakfast. I think it's extremely unprofessional to run a business like that and in the end it's LekkeSlaap's name that rings underneath.
With high expectations, we stopped at Angels Haven Guesthouse on Saturday afternoon only to find out that they had double booked us and that we would have to spend the night at another guest house. On top of that, the woman at Angels Haven said we didn't pay at all and that's why our stay wasn't confirmed, but we had proof of payment and everything.
The accommodation was not dirty but we did not have towels on the beds and had to wait for the keys, the rooms are not locked at all when you are not there. On the internet it shows the place is 4 star but it really is not even 1 star. I had trouble reaching them by phone or getting hold of staff and they couldn't give us the WiFi password at all. The single bunk beds' mattresses were rock hard and I was sore the next morning. The toilet was not dirty but did not smell good. I will not stay there again. It was a bed to sleep on for one night but I might as well have camped and would have had more comfort for less of the price. The first room we were given had a glass dome roof and was extremely hot, luckily they agreed to move us to the other room. The one I actually saw on the internet. There was also other people's shopping in our fridge. Really don't feel like the place has been maintained and kept tidy for us. The gate's control was also broken, but at least it worked. No covered parking. The pool was dirty.
This was the worst and worst service I have ever had in my life. You pay through your neck and then there are no towels, no breakfast and above all an owner with a pathetic excuse: "it's new management". Never ever stay there!
Recommend their stay anytime for the best, calmest, friendliest people. Anytime I would stay there again.
Despite a prior arrangement that we would arrive late, there was not sufficient preparation for that and we had to wait in front of dead man's door in the rain. Cell phones were not answered either.
I think it could do with an upgrade.
