The tranquility and view was food for the soul. Ansie is hospitable and we are spoiled with delicacies. The self-catering unit has everything that may be needed. Will definitely want to go back again! It's cozy and leaves you with a warm feeling in the heart.

Being our very first visit, we found the place to be to our liking. Secluded, welcoming and friendly host, secure and tranquil. We came to have some quiet time, peace and rest, and it was just that. We had the opportunity to visit surrounding places and a few farms. The experience was phenomenal.
The unit is very neat. Sea view from the veranda where the boats can be seen on the water in the evenings.
Cute wooden house, among trees and plants. Has everything you need. Neat and quiet. Cute bar in town if you want to watch rugby or eat something.
We had a ball even though it rained and there was loadshedding.
Only downside was lack of enclosed area for dogs although size of property and location did not make this a major problem.

I would only suggest that a trash can be placed outside for guests. A joke would also have been welcome. Some of the drawers were difficult to push open.

If you are looking for tranquility this is the right place. No one bothers you, searched hard for dog to bark. The view is a bit far away but still stunning. I will book again in the near future. Thank you very, very much.

With my wife in the hospital it had been an ideal place to relax between visits. A bit far from hospital, but it was more than worth the drive to get here.
Comfortable and secluded.
Very hospitable people. The cabin is well used and you don't need to take much with you. It is quiet and peaceful, one side and you are not bothered at all. The nature around the cabin is very beautiful and it feels like you are in the jungle among all the beautiful green trees.

Was kindly received with welcome treats. Everything has been thought of for cold weather, there is a heater, as well as a nice warm electric blanket that can be placed both ways. For two adults it is very comfortable. The milk and juice in the fridge was a big plus for me because there is no big chain store nearby. We had a very nice stay and would be able to recommend it. Could even watch Binnelanders and movies on DStv. Would go back to Angels Rest anytime.
Ansie was so accommodating. Her place was clean, we really needed nothing besides our clothing. She had a welcoming basket of biscuits and coffee greeting us on our arrival. If we did not live so far we would really make use of Angel Rest more often. I would recommend it to anyone and you will not be disappointed.
