We had a lovely break at Anglers. It's ideally located, we had a nice walk to the nearest eateries and shops which are right around the corner. Our room was spotless and the fireplace was lovely. We will definitely stay with Anglers again.
Just what one needs, thanks for the wood, as well as the warm blanket. We had a great stay and the place is well equipped. Maybe just look at toilet paper, 1 roll for Friday night to Sunday morning for two people is too little. regards
Oh, so sorry to complain, I don't usually do that, but have to bring the following to your attention. I went with my daughter, we needed a quiet getaway and really just wanted to rest and watch TV. Thank you, there is TV and DStv and a warm blanket on the bed and the place was clean, but because there was loadshedding 12 hours of the day it didn't work, which I can confirm, it's not your fault , but please if you could just tell people to bring lights and candles in such a case and extra blankets. We sat in the dark for 2 nights or days and got so cold. The cold came through the wooden floors. There was 1 extra blanket, so no help, because there was no power. Was so unpleasant and not a single light. Then the generators next door were on all the time and you couldn't hear yourself and the Pub downstairs was way too close to us. There was fighting and music all night too so we couldn't really sleep or rest and we were really looking forward to a quiet weekend and it was my birthday so nothing worked out. And there were people working downstairs who didn't make us feel comfortable either. We could not stand on the stoep or walk there, nor were we aware of it. DStv also didn't work the 2 hours it was on.
The fireplace right next to the bed is so romantic and warm. The bath is just as wonderful. Perfect for 2.

Was a bit disappointed with the bed, had an uncomfortable, restless night. A heater would be useful as the 3 bags of firewood didn't do much to warm the room.

Beautiful place with a nice kitchen, fireplace and private braai area. Covid friendly and clean. Delicious filter coffee and a free bag of wood for a fire. In the heart of the town and walking distance from all the snuff spots. We would love to stay at Angler's Court again.
Great quality accommodation - secure parking, great service and easy walking distance to Dullstroom main street with pubs, shops and restaurants. Being one street behind the main Dullstyroom street means the noise of the town filters through. Very unfortunate to have constant heavy truck traffic through Dullstroom the whole weekend.
Accommodation was at the back of shops. Sewage tanks were emptied and smelled bad. We only had Blitz for 1 night. Towels and pillows disappointing.

I was disappointed in the room. The bedding and towels are very old, pillowcases were almost translucent. Just expected more from the photos. Our room was also right next to the border wall, didn't feel particularly safe.
No water or electricity after the first day. There is no one to inquire about our well-being or at least ensure that water is provided to us. There is also no storage tank in sight for emergency situations. The owners of guest houses must be aware that water cuts will occur from time to time due to the collapse of municipalities. We paid a lot to stay there, so one expects a lot better.

I really enjoyed Anglers Court, the location is fantastic and I could walk wherever I wanted in Dullstroom. Anytime I would stay there again, would just love if number 6 could get a carport.

Cute place with all commodities. Near business district. Gas grill did not work. Maybe mention that specific unit has stairs and only a shower. All inclusive it was good value for money and nice and spacious.

Angler's Court was beautiful, nice and warm house to sleep in. We also needed to get the key earlier, and they met our needs. The fireplace in the room is lovely and everything was very neat and clean. I will stay there again for a weekend or if we need to spend the night in Dullstroom.

Packaging is not indicated. Bed's mattress is rock hard. Bedding is old, pillows are old. Towels old. There had been no water. Staff paid no attention to drinking water. Well, one can flush water. For the amount one pays, quality could be better.
Place contains very good facilities and is within easy walking distance of town. Suggested improvements are that provisions should be made to hang jackets such as e.g. coat racks.

The place is special. If I can highlight something: the fireplace wood was slightly damp and could not find dry wood anywhere in the town. Maybe a bowl with a lid for the roast meat? And a decent pair of tongs. Rag in the kitchen will work. Otherwise, beautiful.

The gate was open all night which was a concern for us, apart from this fact we did take our own wood with us and enjoyed a lovely warm evening here. We really enjoyed it here and had a good rest. The place is very well located near all the shops. There are a few things in the unit that need repair, but otherwise we had a great time and stay.

A great 'setting' for grandfather and grandmother in no. 6 and our married children with baby in no. 5! So homey and the personal touch with the different units that you just marvel at! I would only suggest a hanging place for clothes in no. 6. Very convenient and walking distance to the restaurants and shops. Will definitely visit again!

We slept over in Dullstroom on our way to the Wildlife Park. We really enjoyed the evening in Anglers Court. The fireplace was lovely and everything was neat and clean. The safe parking was also a big plus.

The room was perfect and tidy. Just 2 little problems. 1. The toaster trips the power. 2. The bubble bath's bubble function does not work.

Anglers court is located behind the row of business units which makes it ideal for a good night's rest under truck noise. The units are well equipped and provide well for cold winter nights.
We stayed at Anglers Court over the weekend! The cottage was nice but bed was very hard and as you come into Anglers Court there is a massive ditch in the road which we hit at night because we could not see it and it damaged the radiator in our Nissan Nivara which is costing R17,000 to fix which we are clearly not happy about. Something needs to be done there.
No hot water. No info on where to get key. Not all the lights work.
The accommodation was neat and pretty. Even though I only washed my hair in the shower, the water was ice cold. Don't know if the units share a geyser. The bead was unbelievably hard and I had to look and see if I was lying on a mattress since it was so uncomfortable. Some of the DStv buttons on the remote weren't working. The one bedside lamp was didn't work.
For that price I expected more. Needs new bedding and towels and a receptionist. It is also difficult to lock and unlock doors and the front security gate was broken and stood open the whole time. The wood, sherry and charcoal were nice extras.

We had a small issue with the key that snapped in the lock. We called Sumi (cannot recall her name at the moment) and the key was replaced quickly. We stayed in unit 5 for the night, it was tidy and luxurious. We really enjoyed our stay.

Anglers is a lovely place to stay. Cuddly bedding, fantastic shower and incredibly nice spa bath. Fireplace is an experience with red wine. Nice outside porch, quiet. Park your vehicle and walk the town flat.
The unit is very well appointed. Complex has central location. Nice braai and patio for socializing. The fireplace will be very nice in winter. The bathroom is five star. The kitchen maybe needs a few utensils. We had a very nice time, can recommend it.

The accommodation does not meet the term "luxury accommodation". There is no reception office and guests have to scramble to get hold of a key with the gracious help of the gardener who was very friendly. The kitchen is equipped, but very basic and not luxurious at all.
