Very nice and beautiful place. Maybe more blankets for the bed as there was only 1 blanket with a thin throw on it. I had to warm up the air conditioning as it was a cold weekend. They may have to save on power.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable. During loadshedding, a generator was on. There was no wi-fi available as advertised. Although the owners seem to be renovating the place, we feel the price does not justify the type of accommodation.
The room we were placed in looked nothing like the room we booked. It looked like a farm shed, not to mention how cold it was. Not to mention the next morning we didn't have running water to shower, we had to ask for a place to shower. The room they gave us to shower was warm and cosy. Thirdly, the room didn't have an ironing board so I had to improvise and iron on the bed. When I removed the covers to iron, I can't even explain the horror I felt when I discovered how filthy the sheet was. When we asked the receptionist why we were not placed in the warm and cosy room in the first place we were told there was going to be a 50th birthday.
Rooms nice and big, clean, comfortable and good value for money. Friendly service very helpful delicious breakfast would recommend it to travelers anytime. Thank you very much.
Swimming pool not working at all and that was one of the draw points. Room number 3's air conditioner is leaking water so the curtains are soaking wet. Mention gunpowder in advertisement. Furthermore, the staff were friendly and helpful.

We couldn't complain about the service because there was none. The room was dirty and filthy. The bottom of the toilet seat is rotten and it wouldn't surprise me if the coronavirus originated there. Strongly suggest that the website end the association with this business quickly.

It was the best accommodation I could find for a stopover from Dordrecht to George. The friendly kitchen staff cooked us a fine lamb neck and the meal was reasonably priced. Breakfast was also good. The accommodation price did not match the facilities offered. My sheet had a sigaret burn hole and shower mat needs replacement The manager sorted out the kettle that did not work due to a faulty plug. The info on the site is out of date. Different manager and we could not reach the hotel when we suffered a blow out on the gravel round to confirm ETA. The line asks for a pin which we did not have and no other contact was supplied. Friendly, rural staff always a plus.
Reception and all staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious, clean and air-conditioned. Nice bar facilities and very reasonable prices - well stocked.
Good choice after a long drive on the way to Cape St Francis. Good food and comfortable room.
Room - dirty and neglected. Entire place including verandah area stinks of stale cigarette smoke. Space for toilet next to shower so small that an average sized man cannot use it.
