Leading from the kitchen is a 6-seater dining table where guests can enjoy their meals. The lounge includes comfortable couches, a TV with DStv, as well as an indoor braai. Free Wi-Fi is available. There is a braai outside.
The location of this house is located within close proximity to a local tidal pool and the beach. Whales like to visit the coast, where they can sometimes be seen with their calves. There are also lovely fishing spots on the beach where the regular cod and mussel crackers can be caught.

Very pleasant stay. The house has everything you need for a breakaway and walking distance from the beach. The kids appreciated the family games. The main bedroom has an electric blanket, which was a blessing. Witsand is a quiet town, and I would suggest you bring along food from home as there is only a small cafe.
Thank you very much for a nice and clean house by the sea, with everything you need to have a nice and peaceful visit. Nice things to do in the area. We will definitely visit there again.

We enjoyed our stay, it had everything we needed in the unit. The WiFi was a problem but the owner communicated prior to our stay that it was dependent on the weather if it would work.
It was very quiet. You could leave the door open without hesitating about stuff getting missing, no distractions.

Furniture gives an old finish with extremely modern equipment. Entertainment is top notch. Everything was fantastic. It is clean, tidy and well finished. I would go back again anytime and highly recommend it to friends and family. A gem.
We wanted to see what Witsand looks like for the first time and slept with our three small children for two nights in Anker @ 942 Duinepark. We really enjoyed it and had a nice stay in the cottage. The cottage does not have a sea view, but is a short walk from the tide pool and rocks and a short drive from the main beach and restaurant.
The house is very comfortably furnished and we had a great stay. The rustic style lets you relax. The house is clean and tidy. Will definitely book the house again. Everything you need is in the house. The house can sleep up to 5. Both the agent and owner helped us a lot. The house is walking distance from the beach. All feedback is the Smart TV that did not always want to communicate with the WiFi. The WiFi has a strong signal and is fast. My father asked that the TV's connection be looked at. This can be relevant for if it's a rainy or windy day, like what happened to us. The cleaning fee may be a bit high, as the dishes were washed by a dishwasher by ourselves. The house is perfect for summer and winter, with an indoor and outdoor barbecue. Of all the places on the website I looked at in Witsand, this is one of the best! It's the perfect long weekend getaway. Rate per night is reasonable. The agent also forwarded useful links/links to restaurants etc.

Anja, owner of house, special person, not met personally but very friendly, Tania, agent also very friendly and helpful. The house was perfect, everything we needed was very clean and tidy, free WiFi so we could listen to music and watch movies. Walking distance from the sea, all in one. Highly recommend the anchor. We will definitely visit again soon.
Place to stay to recommend to anyone looking for value for money.
We impulsively decided to stay in Witsand for a few nights and booked the accommodation the night before our trip. The house is very neat and well equipped. Lovely indoor barbecue and our 6 year old really enjoyed the puzzles and books in the house. A quick walk takes you to the water. We will definitely stop by here again. Many thanks to Tania and team.
Only problem was the slow internet connection.
