8 guests' feedbackVery unpleasant. The place is dirty and smelly, full of roaches. I sent a video to you. You can lock the place with a padlock on the outside when leaving, but you can't lock it when you're inside the accommodation. The accommodation was totally overpriced; it is not worth R200 a day. I have already sent my complaints to Meagan, along with a video showing what the place looks like – nothing like the photos. Price-wise, it was an absolute rip-off.
Beautiful view over Sandvlei high up against the mountain.
Will not find any better accommodation for that price. Only disadvantage: very hot in Summer. No air-conditioning and many mosquitoes due to nearby lake.
Absolutely horrible place. Do not book it.
Bed linen and towels are old and worn and appeared dirty. Room is located under the house with the house's wooden floor and floor beams as roof. I repeatedly bumped my head. The room itself was dirty and unfinished (unpainted and unfurnished). Cupboards, shower, sink and bed were washed. A bunch of stuff was stored in a pile in the corner of the room. The person we received is a lovely and helpful elderly lady, but it seems as if she is alone and physically unable to manage such a facility. Rather pay a little more and stay in a decent place.
Won’t recommend and old furniture, bedding.
Not suitable for any stay at all. Drain in kitchen. Als is dirty.
It was really a lovely place. The owner is so friendly and made me feel at home.
