Very nice and safe.
What an amazing stay at Anne's Place. The accommodation is spacious, clean and very comfortable. The beds are extremely comfortable, and there are plenty of extra blankets for those chilly nights. The beach is a short walk away with lots to explore. The hostess is very welcoming and hospitable. Although there is no WiFi, there is sufficient signal, and it was great to be able to disconnect and recharge.

The host was lovely! We enjoyed our stay. As a family we could be together but also had separate spaces for our quiet moments alone. As a quick weekend away I could not fault it at all.

Our stay was lovely. The double-storey home is so big and very spacious. During the evening load shedding, we sat outside on the couch, by the fire, with warm blankets provided. There was only a partial view of the ocean, but it was great listening to the sounds of the waves, whilst sitting on the patio at the braai. Thank you for a lovely stay, Suzanne.
Our family of five had a fantastic holiday at Anne's Place. Suzanne made us feel so welcome on our arrival and absolutely everything we could ever have needed (plus a whole lot more!) was laid on. The kitchen is by far the best equipped we've ever found on our holidays. The upstairs balcony with braai was the perfect spot to spend time as a family when it rained and even in the very strong wind and rain we experienced on one of our days it was very sheltered and comfortable. The whole place was spotless, the two bathrooms spacious with 2 showers and a bath, the beds extremely comfortable. There is a very large and secure garage that connects right to the downstairs hallway. It is a short 5-10 minute walk to the beach depending on how many puddles your 2-year-old wants to jump into! The Silversands beach is really beautiful and pristine. We visited the wonderful Stoney Point penguin colony which was so close that we realised we could easily have walked there in half an hour if we had wanted to. Thank you so much Suzanne! What a wonderful stay! We are already planning our next visit!
Anne's Place exceeded our expectations! It is very spacious and well-equipped, and the "braai stoep" upstairs is perfect for any type of weather. We were there with two adult children, so having two bathrooms and a huge kitchen was a bonus. Suzanne is a friendly and attentive host who does her best to satisfy her guests. There is a partial sea view, and it's only a 500 m walk to the beach. We'd love to return!

She made us feel so welcome and has such a kind heart and is so friendly, personally she has become like a second mom to me. The house is so comfortable and it was very relaxing being there and is a great place to be if you come from busy Cape Town. I will definitely go back as soon as possible and stay longer, i found it beyond awesome being there. All I can say is thank you Suzanne for everything and for making my stay a fantastic experience and we will see you soon.

Well equipped and spacious rooms.
Everything you need is there for a weekend getaway. Very spacious rooms with lovely covered braai area, and it worked especially well with the lot of wind and rain that was there. My vehicle was also able to park inside a garage which especially helped with loading luggage as it was raining so much when we had to leave again. Nice and spacious apartment for 4 people, father, mother and 2 children who have already finished school.

A large, quiet space. Decor is a bit worn and old school - if that is something that's important to you - but quite likely the cleanest place we have ever stayed at. The stairs are not featured in the photos, and could be problematic for some guests. Appreciative of the security, but the locks are a big pain, especially getting the car into the garage. Location isn't an issue (unless you need a sea view) as everything in the area is within a 5 minute drive.
Very nice place to stay. The braai area and bedrooms are upstairs which can be a problem if you have back or leg problems.

This was one of the most complete and well equipped places we have been as a family in a very, very long time. Very friendly lady and we were very well received. There is absolutely everything a person would need for a vacation. We had a great stay and even with a 2 year old boy up and down the stairs it was still a pleasure. Maybe a small kitchenette upstairs for coffees and puddings would have been a plus, but other than that I give it 10 out of 10.
I didn't really expect to find this place so well equipped. There was something of everything, I would actually be able to stay from a month. The owner is one of the kindest people and so helpful. One thing bothered me though is that it's so cheap, comes to think of it, because it's more than I expected.

We had a very nice stay. The house was clean and tidy and everything was in its place. The braai area is nice and big and cozy with a "view" of the sea. It's close to the beach, probably only a 5 minute walk or so. The only thing that bothered me was the security gate, which is still "manual" and me constantly having to open and close the flimsy thing. But that's a small price to pay for a great weekend!

Safe, tidy place. Too far to walk to sea, shops or restaurants. However, it is well located to see the other coastal towns.
It's just an old house, but very neat, basic and clean. You don't need anything more. Nice sheltered braai area and porch. An awful lot of notes everywhere in the house of dos and don'ts, a bit excessive. Nice big lawn for children to play on. Rooms comfortable and large with comfortable beds. Kitchen very well equipped and large. Even though you're not really there to watch TV, kids want to watch TV when they see a TV. The TV upstairs only has SABC and it's really not good programmes. Dual View would be better so you can put on decent children's programs for your kids while you are grilling for example. Check-out time is 09:00 and that's a bit early I would say. Furthermore, there were no problems or complaints. We had a nice stay.

I've been around the entire Western Cape using B&BS as I travel often; from as far as Calvinia, down the West Coast up the Southern Cape as far as Plettenberg Bay.The tone-setter was definitely Suzanne who came out to meet me on the road, her personality, that of a motherly nature, took me on a tour of the entire premises.On touring the accommodation I couldn't help but notice the cleanliness and neatness, the kitchen, braai area, and even the bathrooms were so well equipped. It felt like home. I am definitely visiting this establishment again and again. It is without a doubt that I highly recommend "Annes Place" as a premium holiday cottage.

Comfortable and cosy!
The fickle weather forced us indoors. We farmed on the deck with the sheltered outdoor grill. It was a good experience and the place is highly recommended.
On the way to the front door, a beautiful garden with very nice tiles welcomes you. The house itself is very clean and the extra effort with the flowers in the rooms made it feel like home. We had a great time on the stoep where you could see a bit of the sea. The stoep is very cutely closed and despite the wind you could still sit outside and have a barbecue. In the morning you are woken up with the sound of the sea and birds. We will definitely go back again!
